So how about Paul MacLean?

He's got a good GM in Bryan Murray who also has a history with Detroit. I'm happy to see both guys do well in a solid hockey market. Murray doesn't get the credit he deserves but combine him with MacLean and they seem to be destined to do very well with the Sens.

Murray doesn't get nearly enough credit as a GM.
I'll wait for Maclean a little more before deeming him a great success.

Pretty much, MacLean was fortunate to walk into a team with most of the pieces in place. Mainly Karlsson but the rest of their youth is solid. He's been impressive though. Happy for him but I'm starting to wish he was still with Detroit.
