Man, Tarasenko is single handedly keeping my fantasy team afloat and killing my will to live at the same time.

Of course it's not their fault, but when the only thing they do is take turns rotating in the penalty box, it does create a lot more ice time and pressure on the other 3 lines.

There are so many things wrong with this forward group right now and Clune is definitely one of those problems.

Exactly. Yip and Clune have sadly been bright spots in this game for us.

How many pucks have we put into a Blues player's shins that resulted in a quality scoring chance the other way? Weber rushed back to knock one away .. the Fisher trip resulting in a penalty shot ... Erat off Reaves leading to their 3rd goal.

Very little consideration about where they are putting the puck tonight.

Sure, he's one of the problems. But he's pretty far down the list.

I love the tape to skate passing. So effective.

I hate it when we try to be cute. Hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it.

Just lazy, soft, and cute.

Remember when this time was less talented, but harder working (and more effective)?

I really liked hockey when sticks didn't break every time someone tapped them, or you received a good hard pass. It was probably sometime back when basketball shorts were still above the knee.

The Blues have allowed 26 shots combined in their first 2 home games (Det, Nash)

I'm glad I didn't drive 4-4.5 hours to go to this game. Effort level needs to improve.

Had to miss this one...sounds like I'm glad I did. Were there any bright spots? Wilson? Josi? Bourque?

Well that just sucked.

Nothing to salvage out of that one.

Next game.

Anyone think that our offense is talented enough to win any game with 13 shots?

Not a single one.

Josi was probably the closest thing to bright tonight, and Weber had a decent diving poke check. The rest of the night was 10 pounds of suck in a 5 pound bag.
