This is the "true" Blues team! Playing when they are not fatigued. NOT scored upon yet at home!

Was only able to catch bits and pieces of the 3rd, didn't even see a single shift from him, but how was Wade?

Awesome win, Halak shut-out, and I had no idea that a puck could "squirt" LOL. Hope they can keep it up. Some tough games ahead huh.

Very solid. No glaring mistakes, a couple of really calm defensive plays. If he continues to play like that, it was a steal of a signing. Gonna have to see how he looks with less rest and against a team with big, dangerous forwards.

It's like the Blues didn't expend much energy at all...And won rather easily.

Steen finished at 56% on faceoffs (second most taken on the team).

Reaves did what he does very well, but he only had 6:39 in TOI (after having 5:25 in his previous game). Read into that what you will, but my take is that he needs to round out the finer points of his game to see the ice in anything but the most favorable situations.

The team was a bit sloppy in the first, but really elevated the sharpness of their execution as the game went on. Their puck management was solid all night...lesson learned, obviously. They'll need to show they can repeat that sort of performance against teams with fresh legs (or when their own legs are tired), but a lot of positives to take from this game regardless.

Just a solid all round performance. PP keeps on going, PK looked much improved and Halák moves 1 shutout away from tying the franchise record.

Will be good to get a practice in tomorrow.

Reaves deserves major props for setting up Tarasenko's goal.

Haha, it was funny how casually he just skated off, and Tarasenko hops on without anybody even noticing and goes in all alone.

The team looked good as the game went on.

He is a fourth liner and unlike his linemates gets 0 Pk time, take it for what you will. He is out there even strength basically every time w/ Nichol and Sobo.

With such a condensed schedule, there will be many clunker games this season. Like the Blues vs the Hawks, and the Preds tonight. There will be tired teams

He still averages only 7ish even strength minutes. Sobotka and Nichol are averaging well over 9 minutes each. But it doesn't really matter when he can dominate the shifts he does take.

Nichol and Sobotka had almost twice as much ESTOI as Reaves tonight.
