You see that he's getting used to the speed and the talent of the opposition. He should probably stay with the big club for the rest of the season... he will learn a lot here and it will prepare him more for next season.
Seguin and stamkos both had similar starts to their careers... you see the flashes of brilliance, but they need to be sheltered against easier opponents and on the PP. I think he can help this club by putting up points if used properly
Physically he doesn't look out of place. Plus he's shifty enough and his stick handling enough to avoid contact. Playing on the line with Prust helps too. No reason he shouldn't stay here all season.
I'd like to see him stay. I don't think he'll put up big numbers this year, but he's not a liability and can probably learn more here than in Sarnia. Besides, there's going to be some growing pains regardless of when he gets his first prolonged opportunity and I'd rather get that out of the way now if possible.
I love Galch, one problem is right now we're sitting a potential 2nd line center, so if we can move Eller via trade, or by moving him to the wing, than i'm all for keeping the young stud.

Ya trade the young guy when players like Gionta, Cole and probably DD wont be here in a couple years. Brilliant!
I like what I've seen so far from him. Good speed, good puck persuit, good hands, physical, creative etc. still, I'd rather he finish the year in the O and come back next year. Give the spot back to Eller and let Gally dominate the crap in Sarnia.
I dont think there is anything wrong with his play, if anything i think the fanbase expects too much of him too fast. I love that he plays a cool and collective game, he isn't running around like a chicken with his head cut off. He plays his role, and yes he has a lot to learn. I find he is ready to play a role on the big club, but time will tell if that is what is best for his development.
Three games and I still think he should go back. But MT is the one deciding...
He is 9th in TOI per Game.
So unless we think he is going to play top-6 or at least be sure about top-9...
What I like about Galchenyuk is the pressure he puts on Bourque for a top-6 spot.
Gallagher could do it but not with Plekanec and Gionta...
I'd say the pressure is on Cole or Desharnais right now. Both are playing less than what we expect. DD is okay, but not great. Cole is downright awful.
