Well that turned out to be a fun game to watch. Get some rest tomorrow and pick up 2 more points on Saturday.

Ugly is a terrible word. Team played great, Lehtonen was on FIRE, he's so good, I'd take him over anyone, just as good as King, Quick and Rinne.

I think Stalberg might just have a thing for Columbus babes and wants to show off to them.

Yall in all honesty we shouldn't have won. I watched the game live and it was the worst officiating I've ever seen. The refs heavily favored the hawks and because of that and how hard Dallas worked and how much they succeeded I was rooting for them near the end. The whole game was bad call after bad call.

Hard to really blame him when the goals were basically breakaways.

We didn't even score the first goal. The stars accidently did.

Should've been more clear, meant more frustrating for a while than ugly. For a while, felt like a videogame where you're significantly outshooting the computer only to be behind due to a few softies that your AI goalie let in on the few shots he faced.

Dallas looked they were sleeping through the whole game.

They weren't in the same league as the Hawks tonight.

When you are continually chasing the other team, you will take penalties.

They could play that game 9 more times and Dallas wouldn't get a point. Credit their goalie with stealing one for them.

Stalberg really stuck out to me. Very nice game.

Shaw wasn't as bad as he's been, but he's still the weak link among our 12 forwards. I guess someone has to be.

Every time I see Saad play, I wait for the other shoe to drop, but he keeps looking like a top-6 guy to me.

What a great comeback win. They could have folded with the way Lehtonen was playing but they just kept getting at it. Toews, Keith, Sharp, Kane and Hossa all in on at least one of Chicago's 3 goals. That's what you need.

THAT IS SO DAMN WRONG. Hawks did exactly what the stars did and worse yet they only got 2 penalties. It was a victory heavily tainted. Idk what yall saw on tv but it wasn't fair in the least. Take the boarding and interference calls.

Hawks utterly dominated this game. Lehtonen nearly stole one.

Hammer is so solid so far. He has made fewer mistakes than any other Hawk d-men so far this year IMO.

No way, 9 more times and they win one or two for sure, LEHTONEN. He's reached his No. 1 overall potential.

Boarding call was obvious. Didn't see the other.

When you double your opponent in shots and play in their zone the entire game, you are going to get more opportunities on the PP.

Agreed, Hawks had a horse shoe up their ass all night on the calls.

WHAT GAME DID YALL WATCH!?!

Look I love the hawks but we should not have gotten that win. Stars were really good tonight and really put the pressure on the hawks. The first goal we got we didn't score on. It was an own goal. Then the other two goals were because of penalties. Stars were able to get a goal on a penalty kill

Hammer's been outstanding. I can't believe, seeing this, that I would have been okay trading him. He's shown sneaky good hands, great poise with the puck aswell. As always, great defensively and more consistently physical. He could still be better in transtion, moving the puck, but at this point that's just a nit-pick. He's been outstanding.

Recovered from my heart attack. Geart win. Way to hang in facing a hot goalie. 4-0 boys. Perfection.

I saw a couple bad calls, going to admit that. However, Hawks dominated the play with TOP and rushes. The hit on Leddy was obvious, the penalty in OT was stupid, absolutely no reason for it. Kari was peppered all game and it could have been worse if he didn't steal the show.

Stars did nothing with their PP's and allowed way too many opportunities. They also had a penalty shot. You can't expect Kari to do this every night.

Did you change your username just to come onto the Hawks board, pretend to be a Hawk fan, and then go on about how the Hawks didn't deserve to win? Could be wrong, but I don't think I've ever seen you post on the Blackhawks board. Chicago clearly outclassed Dallas tonight. The only reason they were in the game was Lehtonen. Hawks should have won 7-2 with the chances they were creating/getting.
