How much did you have to drink? Seriously. Only thing that matters was the W. If you were at the game you should understand the saves Kari was making.

Keith played about 4 more minutes tonight than the prior 3 games, at 26 minutes. Not bad for a game with OT... He looks so much better when his legs are fresher and not playing nearly 27 every single night, like he has the last 3 seasons. Please keep it that way. Now if he could just get his shot fully back to form....

Saad was phenomenal. Always in the right position doing the right thing.

I'm a minor. And karis saves were spectacular. I'm sure we can all agree on that

You're mad over a technicality? It was a penalty. Slashing, interference, it's 2 mins in the box and deservingly so.

Truth.

Just wish he would have elevated that backhand in the first.

I don't think you're going to win people over by pointing out something that doesn't help your point. The Hawks outplayed the Stars, Lehtonen kept them in it with some ridiculous saves. The Hawks play at the Blue Line was some of the best I've seen from them in a while.

Something that will come with learning from savy vets like Hoss.

How can you wish that upon this thread? Jerk.

Anyways...

Hawks
Shots 41 + 24 blocked shots = 65 total
Stars
23 shots on goal + 7 blocked shots = 30 total

Plus how many times did we miss the net or miss a pass? Hawks dominated. Just because a couple Stars fans around you were whining doesn't make it just.

I wish I could see a time of possession stat for this game.

Yes and that proves your point wrong about the shots not going in.

Great games: Kane, Hossa, Sharp, Hossa, Toews, Keith, Hammer, Saad, and Stalhberg

Good: Crawford, Frolik and Kruger

Bad: Seabrook

The good thing about Keith playing so much more tonight was that it was mostly PP TOI. Not exactly hard minutes. He definitely looks sharp to start the year.

No you get a different perspective of the ice. What's going on and they show alot more replays. Maybe things would be different if the penalties called weren't so lopsided

56.1*Interference -

Restrain: The actions of a player or goalkeeper who does not have body position, but instead uses illegal means (e.g. hook with stick; hold with hands, trip with the stick or in any manner) to impede an opponent who is not in possession of the puck. Illegal means are acts which allow a player or goalkeeper to establish, maintain or restore body position other than by skating.
It is interference.

Good point, 5 of his 26 minutes were on the PP.

I blocked his ass so let me know if he is.

Hawley, I like you man, but you are flat out wrong. Hawks were clearly the better team.

Hawks have a ton of speed. Seems like a lot more this year than last.
