Handzus is looking quicker and provides a big body in front of the net. Maybe put Gomez with Handzus and Galiardi, and move Wingels next to Burish and Desjardins?

I feel like Wingels has looked better so far, especially in possession. TJ-Desi-Burish would be a great pest line

I thought Galiardi looked better chances-wise. Wingels just seems like a better Clowe right now (all perimeter play).
Wingels - Desjardins - Winnik was a great line in the playoffs too, and Burish is pretty similar to Winnik.
Really? Wow, the first time I saw it was the season we had Heater.

Or: the Sharks' AHL affiliate used to be the Cleveland Barons, whose figurehead wore a monacle.
the original reason was because Joe did an interview in a hotel in Detroit that was full of 18th/19th century looking deco and somehow it became a joke that it was Joe's house and that he was into classical clothing and insisted on being called "Lord Joseph" and whatnot. I thought it was from shortly after he was acquired, but actually the first reference and creation of the image seem to date back to 2008. Not as far as I thought.

Ah the good ol' 2007-2008 season. The era of rally pics.

That is pretty severely cool, considering that Detroit was built on an empire of pizza.
I'd love to see tours of Grosse Point art deco mansions led by Chris Chelios wearing a monacle.
NHL.com still a joke. Marleau 6 goals in 3 games and 2 in this one plus winning goal and not even third star. No mention of Sharks on front page.

Great season opener to be at. This is the team I expected to see last year only I believe this team is better with Burish, Gomez, healthy Havlat, rested Marleau, new asst coaches (Robinson).
The sky IS the limit.
