The ending to the SJ/PHX game was ****ING GREAT. Fast, end-to-end, big saves, lots of chances...
The Sharks and the Blackhawks look to be the two best teams that I've seen in the first five days, and I've choked down a ******** of hockey, abusing the Center Ice replays late in the night.
San Jose goes about 23 deep on offense. Thornton and Marleau are on another level these first three games, the last two in particular have scared me. Pavelski, Couture, Clowe, healthy Havlat, Heatley, Galiardi... I dig. Boyle and Burns...
Kane and Hossa both look refreshed and dominant for CHI. Toews, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook, Byfuglien, Bolland, Stalberg, Frolik, Kruger, Leddy, Hammer.... deep on O and D
Niemi and Crawford remain the question marks for SJ and CHI respectively. If they hold up, both could run deep again.
I know it is very early in the season (although be it a short season so things matter much quicker) but seeing Philly at 0-3 and having only scored 3 goals in those 3 games brings a childlike grin to my face.
Is he under Free Agents? Just got the update and started a Be a GM and can't seem to find him.
Seven points in four games for Canisius kid Cory Conacher with the Bolts.
I turned the Bolts game on after our game and have seen pieces of him in his previous games.. he's just fit in seamlessly at this level so far.
It would be insane if they stumbled upon something close to a MSL replacement for free.

It's a "dub" of an interview done by a sens fan from these boards, he never actually said that. It was the press conference after they traded for Phaneuf. Wish I could track it down.
