No...just...no.

Haven't watched a Canucks game since 2011 playoffs I presume. The Sedins did not dive. Henrik did. Not Daniel. However he like many Canucks has improved in that aspect. Read: Stopped diving. Lu I'll give you but still 2 players (Kesler) does not a team make.

To be fair to Luongo, now goalies tend to flop in this league for some reason (Thomas, Miller ect), but I'm not happy that he does. I cannot stress enough that Henrik dives while Daniel doesn't .

Saw Dubynk embellish when a stick got close to his mask tonight. Shot his head back.

Been saying this for ages.

Don't understand why Kings fans are trying to defend Brown's diving. Everyone knows he likes his embellishments.

He's got a mask on, no need to shoot your head back like that. Embellishment so the refs could see.

I'm with The Nuge on this one. Thought it was a modest and appropriate reaction to the stick hitting him in the head. I don't think masks really prevent the 'just/almost got hit in the head when you're not expecting it' sensation.

And we all agree. What we defend is when its a legit call and people say he dove or embellished. It seems everytime he draws a penalty its a dive. His rep is so overblown its not even funny anymore.

Exactly. Anyone that's played goal can tell you one of the things that catches you off guard most is being hit in the head

Not really... He's gotten disgustingly bad. The problem is, he's good at selling them, so he just keeps doing it. The refs need to start calling guys like him and Kesler out

Exactly. I'm embarrassed by Brown's diving, but there ARE times he draws legitimate calls. It's when people automatically label every call he draws a dive that I get annoyed.

I've played goal many times & when I've been hit in the mask I don't shoot my head back like that. I think it was more of an embellishment then anything.

that's true with many players that have a bad rep for diving though. You lose the benefit of the doubt when you are know for diving/embellishing

Really? You get hit in the face when you're not expecting it and you don't move your head? I'm calling BS

I saw no issue with what Dubnyk did personally

I didn't say that, I don't shoot my head back like Dubynk did tonight... I'm more of a sideways shaker.

Clearly I find it an embellishment on his part while you don't & neither of our opinion will change.

One of the Sedins just took a flop in the Ducks game. Not sure which one it was, 90% sure it was Henrik.

Yeah. Sad really, since they were already on the powerplay. Thought refs were instructed to call diving/embelishment stricter this year?

You guys must have had a better replay than me because it looked like he got a stick in his feet to me. Anyone have video of it?
