I think saying that everyone is available for the right price is a given. Not like Shero would part with Despres for a prospect or something like that.

Amen, JTG. Amen. Rossi is an idiot. You don't have to follow the Pens to know this is a possibility. Despres isn't a guy we will pass long cheap, but if a Neal/Nisky deal comes up - I'm all-in.
I hate how journalists report things nowadays. They can turn common knowledge into rumors just by how they write it. It's just piss-poor, but the industry is based on how many people click.... sooooooooo?
Talked a little about the line juggling. And said that making a trade to fill the top 6 role is out of the question.
During that, he said "I can tell you, Despres is available for the right deal"
Asked if that's why he in the lineup, to showcase him
"Yes I think that's part of it."
So...yeah it's Rossi...but meh....something to run with.
So, Despres is available for the right deal but making a trade to fill the top six is out of the question.
Rossi's brilliance in full bloom.
Well, the Pens can always use more bottom six forwards, I suppose.

But it can't be a Neal/Nisky type deal. A deal for a top six forward is out of the question. Hoping he meant to type 'not out of the question'.

Everyone on this team not named Crosby, Malkin, Neal, Letang and Fleury should be available, should the return be worth it.
Really, THAT is what it boils down to. Saying 'Despres is available for the right return' is nothing earth shattering. ****, Morrow, Pouliot, Bennett . . . those guys would be available for the right return.
random gm- so any chance we could pry Depres from you guys.
shero- yeah for the right price he could be moved.
random gm - we have a second line winger we might be willing to part with.
Shero- out of the question, we're gonna need someone in the bottom six.
Yeah that makes sense. Even when you consider Rossi to be an idiot, it still seems to be a typo.
How could he be showcased for other GMs when the disappointed Pens brass are leaving him in the A to teach him a lesson?
Not following . . .
Are you agreeing with Rossi that's part of the reason that he may have been kept up?
Anyway, since Rossi really broke the earth shattering news that Despres might be available for the right deal and that trading for a top six winger is [not] out of the question, here's my question for everyone:

"The one who talks the most usually knows the least."
That's why Rob Rossi can send out 100 tweets a day about the Pens, and no one believes him, but Bob McKenzie can say 1 thing about the Pens and it can be taken as gospel.
If Wade Redden is playing top pairing minutes with Pietrangelo, I still have hope we can nab one of the Blues' wingers. Keep Despres up and hope he can showcase to GMs his unique skillset.
