In truth, I love the goalie hexes, but those are usually happening at stoppages, or after a bonehead play.
It was Old the 10th game... I much prefer the creative chants that are spontaneous

agree...kind of

i don't overly mind the negative cherring, but at the home opener it definitly seemed ther was not nearly enough positive cheering for the jets. It doesn't have to come at the cost of hexing, but it needs to be increased.

Agree X100 and why do people start the goalie taunts when its 0-0? Usually you pull that out when he lets in a soft goal right? Never understood the logic behind that

HERE's a new strategy that we should use!!!

I hope they start Fleury this game.

I honestly think Vokoun is a better tender.

Yeah, I agree that some cheering for our own guys would be better than spending all our time firing up the opposition with chants against them, unless of course they're really creative.

I'd like to see the scoreboard showing a Penguin flapping it's little arms trying to get off the ground, as a Jet roars by overhead though!

Vokoun is a better goaltender. Who was in net for them vs the Leafs?

Winnipeg are one of very few teams I don't mind losing too. Should be a good game.

You are correct. However the SNES version was a poor mans version of the Sega game. NHL 93 and 94 on Sega are unmatched to this day. I want to see Crosby flailing on the ice with blood coming out of his head (all Roenick hitting Gretzky in Swingers style).

Our only chant should be beat boxing the intro music to the video game all night!!!

I couldn't tell you why, but I'm extra pumped for this game tonight. Maybe it's just the carry-over from Tuesday's game.

I love the NHL '94-themed GDT. Lovely work!

As for chants... I have zero problem with booing the opposition, but I do agree that you don't want to risk firing up opposing players. "Ovi's better" would be foolish. "GST would be amusing though.

Gotta work later today, so I'll be watching the game from my office. Does anyone know if it's on TSN in Alberta today?

The "someone's" better chants were creative and served their purpose last year, they are played out already, Jets fans are now obligated to keep the creative, spontaneous chants flowing. I have faith in all of my brothers and sisters that once they get liqoured and loud, a new chant will echo from the upper bowl.

$50 for one year of GameCentre Live. I haven't pulled the trigger yet since all but the Boston game have been on national tv, but I'm going to in time for Sunday's game.

I'll meet you halfway:

Tobias Enstrom: 4 points on the year
Sidney Crosby: 3 points on the year

How about "Toby's Better!"?

I agree

However, the more national games that get played, the less TSN Jets gets, and in turn less money they make.

I don't like it but that is the sad reality

Yeah, I'm not wanting to intentionally take business away from them, but on a purely selfish note, televised games are much better than choppy internet feeds.

Fantastic GDT!

Really looking forward to this one, it's going to be a huge test for us. Pens are coming off a disappointing loss to Toronto and you can bet Crosby and Malkin will want to pull out a win here, in front of a huge, loud Winnipeg crowd too. They're going to want to get the crowd out of the game early so I expect one heck of a start from the Pens. I hope we are prepared and ready. We can take this Pens team if we show and dedicate ourselves like we have the last two games.

I feel good about this one. Love our size and depth at forward right from line 1 to 4 and we really have come together these last 2 games. Big expectations now for me on how this team shows up and approaches games now that we've see what they can bring. The bar is set.
