I don't think Anderson is top 10, but right around the 12 spot. People on the main boards kept trying to tell us that Anderson was a below average starter before the season started.

I don't think he's top-10. Top-15 is more appropriate. Even then, I think a lot of goalies could compete with him for those 5 spots (Lehtonen, a healthy DiPietro, Thomas, Brodeur, Theodore, Rask, Schneider, Bryzgalov).
I'm a little late to this party but I'd put Anderson ahead of Hiller and Fleury on that list. He's probably better than Luongo and Kipper too. Kipper will have his occasional godly game but Anderson is far more consistent. Luongo has lost his job to Schneider who's about a middle of the pack goalie.

As good and promising as Lehner looks (i am a huge fan), he or anyone else could not be any better than anderson has been so far and that's not just stopping pucks but directing traffic, motivating the team, etc. You don't even consider moving this guy.

I'd keep anderson around here until he wants to leave. either as starter, 1a, or backup.

The funny thing is that the term "underrated" is thrown around by fan bases that have actually seen Anderson play regularly (like Ranger, Leaf and Flyer fans) but his ability is often questioned mainly by Western Conference team fans.

Particularly Colorado fans who seem to have so much hurt from him "quitting on the team" and having one poor season. Avalanche fans seem to ignore that their coach was a "richard" to Anderson, forcing him into play before he had completely healed from injury and management was low-balling him after he put together a stellar season the year before and carried them into the playoffs.

Whether or not you think that he's top 10 right now he sure is playing like a top 5 goalie.

I could care less about how people rank Andy amongst the other goalies in the league. He's played like one of the very best ever since he got here, and thats all that matters. I have supreme confidence in him, which is a unfamiliar, but awesome feeling

Well, 3 games in (which means it will last all season guaranteed) he is the no. 1 ranked goalie and player in the NHL.

I'm a massive Anderson fan and think he means more to the team than anything we can get in return. No way we move him, I won't allow it.

LOLOLOLOL at the Mensa-members that wanted to start the season with Lehner-Bishop.

Now you see what life is like without Anderson. The team plays with infinitely more confidence when he's between the pipes.

Anderson's value to this team just got a reality check due to Bishop's meltdown in Tampa. Albeit, it's only one game; however, it just goes to show how important a legit NHL goaltender can win you games.

Bishop will redeem himself soon.

If Andy played tonight, we might have walked away with 8 points, instead of 6.

Bishop started the AHL with 4 GAA in first 3 games then followed that with .950 or something the next 10 games.
