Caps are desperate and the Devils are well rested. Lets make it 3 & 0. Should be a good game.

Who's ready for gameday? Ryan Jahnke of Devils Insiders examines Devils fans passion so early in the season as well as the team's optimal production. Thanks for reading!

Josefson with multiple points tonight I'm feeling it. Perhaps a Kovaltrick too. LGD.

Sounds like Henrique could be ready in time for next Thursday's game against the Islanders
Great, since we're going to need him with games at Pitt and home against the Rangers in two weeks.

Yeah it sounds like he can step right in if they decide on sending Matteau down. Could end up being perfect timing.

At this point I'd say Henrique can replace Janssen. Keep Matteau!

I think they should send Matteau down. He looks amazing right now but end of the day, he's not adding much value to the team that cannot be replaced. Not worth the year of his contract unless they really think his development can be accelerated by being with the big club.
Tedenby- Zajac- Kovy
Elias- Henrique- Zubrus
Matteau/Butler- Josefson- Clarkson
CBGB
or swap Clarkie and Zubrus if the Elias-Clarkson chemistry gets going
Four solid lines there IMO.
I'd been hoping for Tedenby on line one just because Zubrus being there made the third line terrible. If Teds can't score with Zajac and Kovy, he's never going to be a scorer in the NHL. If Tedenby sucks it up, send him down, move Zubrus back to line 1 LW, Clarkie to line 2 RW and probably bring up Bernier to line 3 RW. Cam takes his spot on 4th line.

Any info on the type of game Barch plays would be appreciated.
And I can see Matteau scoring his first tonight.

I'm fine with any improvement over Jassen, who hasn't played all that bad. Thanks!

Just listened to a hockey podcast where the hosts said we're going to finish 9th because Marty's old and Hedberg is a bad goalie.
Hedberg's awful stats last year - 17-7-2, 2.22GAA, .917 SV %, 4SO
And Marty already has a shutout and has been standing on his head so far. Idiots.

Marty's on pace to let in 24 goals on the season if he plays all 48
