The iPhone Ticketmaster app is the worst. I can't access Ticketmaster from work so I've been refreshing my phone very frequently, a couple of times I have caught the screen to choose tickets, and then the "confirmation word" screen comes up. A mash of random letters so close together, made worse by the fact they put a big "ink blot" in the middle to confuse people further. By the time I actually get one I can read I get "Sorry, no tickets available".
Blake Wheeler - Does he look forward to a challenge like tonight's game? Look at it as an opportunity to show what this team can do. What is key to making sure the Pens don't control the game? Has this team changed its attitude?
Andrew Ladd - Did the Jets play too much run and gun last season? Forwards coming back. High end skill on Pens. Does he keep a book in his mind about goalie tendencies?
James Wright - Being in an NHL environment. What does it mean to be back on the Prairies Going against the Penguins. 2nd thoughts after having early NHL success and then being sent down. Hunger with this opportunity. Back with Evander Kane. Can he help explain how Evander ticks? What was it like when he got the call after he was claimed off waivers?
Kyle Wellwood - Facing off against the Pens. Getting his game back on track. Does he look forward to facing a challenging team like the Penguins. Is there a recognition that he can do a number of things on this team.
Once you've been to major sports event in Europe where the fans are absolutely crazy (but admittedly, unfortunately violent), its a different experience all together than *just* a game.
I would love Jets games to be like a game in Eastern Europe or the Balkans where everyone is singing --- example this is at a basketball game in Belgrade: (although lets not debate the other side of events there).
We just need a better goal song like the NYR or in Chicago.

Winnipeg Jets Playoff Chances
Did not play, playoff odds up 2.3 to 51.9%
Big game today, win and playoff odds go up 5.3%!
(btw, that site is addictive as all hell, I can click on the info in there for hours!)
It's cool, but it's really only important starting with around 10-15 games left (in an 82 game season). Early on there is much too much time for those percentages to change drastically.

Oh, absolutely, but it's great for magnifying the rollercoaster of emotions we get as fans of the teams. There's a direct correlation between the slope of the lines and the fanbases emotional state.
(It's also great fun to watch the Leafs chances wither as the season passes)
has anyone heard if True North is continuing concession discount for a few more games? It would be nice for group STH
That was just for the opener from what I heard, but I wish. Got a Jets dog with every topping they had for $5. Got sufficiently tanked for under $20; a good day was had. I'm not bitter though: I don't mind breaking the bank a little for a draft if the money is padding contracts and putting ice on the rink!

Yeah I don't think I had ever left a Jets game with cash in my wallet still until the opener.
Note to the young d-bags in section 314 row 12 - next time you happen to spill beer down the backs of the two people in front of you, man up and apologize before they ask you to, not after. Buying them a beer would help too.
