well if this is an attempt to showcase defensemen, I wonder if a swap of one of them for Subban is being looked at.

Just a conditioning stint to get his game going. Nothing to worry about.

For sure and it makes sense, offensively he's there, defensively not so much.

God I love having the AHL team in the same city

Exactly.

It's probably only for a few games but I'm surprised nobody is getting a callup. We don't really need it but just found it curious. Would like to use these next 3-4 games or however long Gardiner is down for to give Ryan Hamilton another pat on the back.

I'm going to the marlies game tomorrow so it's good for me! But it's for him to develop his game after his concussion. Smart move.

I KNOW, but if we were to add a forward, UFA. he would be ok to go down and get some games, practice time in.

I can't see Suban coming here. They definitely aren't showcasing Gardiner by sending him down. None of the other dmen are worth anywhere near what Suban is.

You think there is any chance in hell that Montreal trades Subban not only within the division, but to their most historic rivals? Yeah, right.

Yeah, it's probably for conditioning purposes. Hopefully he's back up soon

We got Grabovski from Montreal for the draft rights to Greg Pateryn and a 2010 second round pick.

We have too many players, but cup67 will never stop talking about UFA, repeating the same point in every single thread

Even Gunner looked better than him last night, and after that give away at the blueline to allow their empty net goal, he should get sent down, let Fraser get some minutes.
