Sooooo

Someone comes to the Bruins board and states they come in peace but wanted us to know that Martin had a target on Seguin

OMG

If that happens expect 50% of your team to be out on injury after this game

Go Bruins

this will be a great test for the islanders. they still hadn't to play the pens, rangers, flyers a hundred times, they will need to beat good teams.

If DP lets in ONE goal he will be chastised by fans, not really fair. I hope he does well

Nabby let in a couple bad goals yesterday, I can only imagine if Dipietro allows ones like that

No offense but I I dont think Boulton, Carkner, or Martin are afraid of anyone on the Bruins roster. Should be a good game.

Is Boulton going to be waiting for them in the parking lot? Because he shouldn't be anywhere near the ice.

And that doesn't count ancillary impact from the perspective of the rest of the league that we are still giving this guy starts. If the whole Nabby thing never happened, RDP would be starting because you know Snowang would have not grabbed a capable starting goalie.

The league thinks we are a laughing stock, and he epitomizes it. It is unfortunate for him. I get he bleeds blue and orange, and I respect that. If he cared so deeply about helping the team, he would join the booth or some other level of staff.
Sorry but it's really not. That equates to 14 games a season. If you honestly believe that Rick DiPietro is the reason the Islanders haven't made the playoffs since 2006-2007 then that's thee most absurd thing I ever heard.

Hopefully the islanders players don't lie to themselves and realize Ricky just isn't a good goalie anymore and do all they can to hustle, play great defense and block as many shots as possible if that happens and we score when we get the chance and a few power plays come our way then we can win. A lot needs to go right tonight...we will see if that happens. My guess is a loss but I always have at least a little bit of hope in me...can't help it want this team to succeed so badly.

Same lineup as the past few games per Staple:

Quote:
#Isles lineup will stay the same -- Hickey will take warmups, but same F lines and D planned.

Stapes says same lineup. Still no Hickey or Marty. But on the bright side we have Cizikas over Boulton.

Because the longer you rely on luck, the more likely it gets broken at some point in time

Because we are playing back to back games and need a 6th defensemen you can feel comfortable playing 10+ minutes(especially in the 3rd period we will really need that 6th defenseman when our top 4 starts getting tired)

The only way Finley should be playing is

1. if we dress 7 defensemen

2. Carkner is injured

so what happens if DP plays a great game, does he get the start in Winnipeg?

I know some fake fans are hoping DP gets hurt, or he plays like crap

We're 2-1, and have looked good AND bad in all the games we've played so far. Not like we're 8-2 and crushing it, certainly room for tweaks.

I'm a DP supporter, but yea, he looks ridiculous. I hope it isn't one of those "I'm not shaving until I stay healthy for a full season" type thing because, well, yea.

Right after Bailey's surgery, it was reported he was walking around with a small bandage.

Someone (Staples I think), said that Bailey wanted to start skating a couple days ago, but the isles told him to hold off until the team returns from this road trip.

Sounds like his procedure was pretty minor and he's close to returning.
