Tambolini would hang up the phone laughing.

If that package would be made available, we'd need a legitimate young first pairing defenceman. I'm talking Doughty or Pietrangelo, but since LA and St Louis wouldn't do it, we'll continue on our path to a rock solid team.

Not sure how its an embarrassment.

Hall and Oreilly will likely be close. Hall will be a 75 point player, Oreilly a 65 point guy with Selke level Defense. Pretty even if you ask me. Then you have Barrie/Elliott for Gagner. IMO I wouldn't trade either of them straight up for Gagner. And then its a 1st for a 1st, in which really you have no idea who's first will be higher. This was made sort of off the bases of Our 1st being 5-6 spots higher. If the Oilers first were Higher, then I would change there 1st to a 2nd.

So lets say:

Oreilly + Barrie + 1st(We'll say 8-12 range)

for Hall + Gagner + 2nd(34-38 range).

Doesn't seem far off at all to me. Then again I've never been the biggest fan of Hall. Injuries are a huge question mark for him in my opinion.

I'll put out a Leafs offer, Grabovski+Phaneuf for Gagner+Hall without the pick. Make Eberle your captain though before Phaneuf, don't want to hear Phaneuf and uhhhhhhhh we did uhhhhhhh good but uhhhhhh we couldn't *blanks out for 10 seconds* finish it.

Grabovski-Above average 2nd line center and would be good for Yakupov.

Phaneuf- Lower class #1, if he isn't relied on for everything and plays 23-26 minutes he will play well the whole game instead of last minutes he seems burnt out when having a good 28 against hard competition.

View is Grabo>Gagner, Phaneuf<Hall. Although we'd be loaded on LW With Hall/Lupul/JVR lol.

Hall + Gagner + 2012 1st

for

Subban + Plekanec

Not 100% I'd want to do that though, because Gagner wouldn't fit in well.

Your only expecting 75 from Hall? You don't think he has PPG potential? I don't see why Avs would acquire him when they already have a budding star in Landeskog.

75 is basically PPG, but for the sake of arguments no I don't think he has PPG Potential, 75-80 in his prime. Very few players in todays game are actually PPG or PPG+, I don't expect Hall to be one of them.

Now that's not to say he might have 1 or 2 years of say 80-85 points but I think over his career he'll average out to be a 75ish guy.

And its not so much that I want Hall, in fact if we were to move Oreilly for a Top line type Winger, Hall wouldn't be one of my first targets, but for the sake of this thread I made an offer for him.

I would take Skinner, Seguin, Yakupov, P Kane, and Benn(As a Winger) over Hall.

not at all.

Pacioretty throws his body around - something the Habs have lacked for a long time.

Gagner has never cracked the 50 pts mark.

and why oh why would we give away a first round pick? we don't need Hall.

Taylor Hall is this generations Mark Messier for Oilers fans. He has a winning attitude and will no doubt be a powerful force when the Oilers make the playoffs.

Oh yeah, I just went there!
