That's how a powerplay is supposed to be run. They go back and forth back and forth across the ice. Force the goalie and the d-men and the forward to look right and left, right and left.

Get them disoriented and losing track of the extra man sneaking into the soft areas of the ice and then strike.

Why can't we do that? Why do we make it easy and just pass along the outside where it's easily tracked?
