Just can't overhype him. He can easily not be good enough to play in the MLS. Why? He's playing in a Bundesliga U23 team, so the MLS should be easier logically. But one name brings everything back in perspective. Bryan Arguez. He basically did the same thing as Del Piccolo. He played for Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga as well

That should help recruit players.

That same tournament in Orlando as last year, so can't tell, depends on the draw/groups

Do any of you watch "L'Impact de l'Académie" on MAtv? It is a freakin' great show! I love it! It helps us understand how the academy works and it is very well done!

Only watched one episode, loved it, just never got time to get it back.

By the way; for this season one of my biggest hopes is that we start scoring on corners/set plays, as well as not conceding on them. We did well with the defending part at the end of last year, but still barely scored from corners/free kicks

By the way Rivas is still not completely healed from his injury last season and might miss some games at the beginning of the season

Yep, he still hasn't taken part any training with the team yet. We'll probably see Ferrari-Nesta to start the season, and I hope this will be our regular pairing and use Rivas as a backup only because we know he'll get injured eventually.

Almost to a new thread! The sticky shall return!

I bet by the next offseason Rivas and Nesta are gone. Perhaps Camara as well. All or nothing this year!

I think Camara stays if Rivas and Nesta are out. Unless he gets an offer from the PL/Ligue 1 (The only two leagues he said he would leave MTL for)

Saw Philippe Eullaffroy today on Mont-Royal. He looked pretty damn cold.

According to Wikipedia you can get a Montreal Impact Fifa 13 cover. Anyone know where to find one? The EA website only offers 8 EPL covers..

If Brovsky had more skills he'd be easily the most marketable guy with the impact and a guy ppl can easily identify themselves with. Hiping the best for him in his career and hopefully he'll stay with us for a very long time.

I usually don't tweet famous people I follow, but when Jeb got married, I congratulated him and told him genuine good guys like him deserve all the happiness they can get. I have so much respect for him. He is one of my favorite players and it isn't because of his play on the pitch. Oh he did get better as the year progressed and I hope he becomes a quality starter. He is one of the rare athletes I like for who he seems to be. Jeb deserves our love and respect.

Same here lol. Jeb is the only athlete or celebrity I ever tweeted to, and that was to congratulate him when he got married

I also like it a lot!!! I like the way Eullafroy handle the academy. The Impact's youth are in good hands. I like the methods the staff use to prepare the academicians physically and mentally to become a pro soccer player.I also like the fact that the players must have success in their study in order to be a part of the Academy. We can see the quality of the Impact organization and kudos to the Serie director we don't expect that level of quality on MAtv.

Neagle to Seattle for an int'l spot. He's good depth. I'm not liking this unless they're bringing a foreign quality midfielder.

Well that probably means that they like what they see from Blake Smith. If that's the case: bye bye Lamar, you won't be missed.
