So which shots would be stopped by NHL average goaltending?

The first one, where he had about 5 seconds to cover up

Relax, Bishop isn't in the long term plans of this team. We need him to find his game (he's not this bad) so we can get value for him.
Lehner would have played tonight and we probably would have won.

You're not going to get very far giving away wins to try to generate interest in an AHL caliber goaltender. No team can afford that, especially in a short season.

Experiment failed. Now the team can correct the situation be sending Bishop to Bingo and calling Lehner up. Will they?

Lehner is better, he belongs here, and he deserves to be here.

Phillips would look really good playing 18 minutes or so on that 3rd pair and 1st PK.

Well to be fair, Bishop's career with us would be over by the end of the season regardless.

Also, again, not sure if Bishop can be sent down.

Also, LOL at people suggesting we trade Anderson of all people. They're the ones who are the real fools in all this tbh.

Defense wasn't hot. Bishop couldn't make good decisions with the puck, bad rebounds, sloppy plays.

Need to bounce back quick on Sunday.

The first he was definitely slow to cover, his poor decisions when playing the puck resulted in a goal. He was down and out of position on the fifth goal, though Gonchar should have had Malone.

The loss definitely can be entirely pinned on Bishop, the team looked disorganized for most of the night and definitely tired in the third.

Having to kill four penalties in the first didn't help them either.

You don't seem to understand that this is a short schedule and you can't afford to give away points on any given night. To me McLean dropped the ball on this one as you ride your hot goalie until he says he needs a break, can't believe he would be tired after having 9 months off

Don't believe it had anything to do with money, NHL teams just don't carry three goalies, just doesn't work.

Lehner was the easy decision due to contract.

And you don't seem to understand that you have to pace your starting goalie. Especially when you have a schedule like 5 games in 7 days...

If it comes down to the stretch, we'll want Andy being sharp during games we can't afford to lose, rather than now when we still have a bit of slack.

This season is a sprint, but more like the 400m than the 100m.
