No one is giving you those things for picks and prospects.

Dan Cleary for 6th round pick. He's great, just ask Mike Babcock. Plays him on the PP, PK and late in games.

Pens fan here. Agree that some people are unrealistic.
A winger for Crosby could maybe be had midseason for a player like Despres or Pouliot + picks.

There is little chance of us acquiring that without creating another hole on the team.

Once lupuls back he's expendable.

Morrow and Robidas together. Can keep as much of their salary as possible.

(let's see who bites on this)

What would the Stars be looking for?

Are you referring to Be A GM Mode or something? And it's only been four games..
Unless it's further on in the season when teams know if they're buying/selling, I don't see how picks/prospects will get what you want.

What are your thoughts on a return of Ryan Whitney? He's looked pretty average so far with the Oil, and while we can't really afford to give him up (nor should we), I feel like we'd be better off with a more physical Dman taking his spot. He is still good buddies with Sid (trained with him during the lockout).

Engelland + 2nd for Whitney?

Oil could have the hometown boy pairing of Fistric-Engelland. Tough pair, not sure how they'd look moving the puck out of the zone though.

D'agostini is a top 6 player that St. Louis just doesn't have any room for anymore. He would look great on Crosbys wing.

LOL ... we traded Whitney for a reason. He is terrible. We need a real d-man, not someone like Whitney.

I'll take anything of value for them both. It was a joke, neither of them are fit for those roles anymore.

Engelland isn't being traded.

Eh, most Pens fans don't either. Most probable explanation would be that Michalek didn't feel comfortable with our system and wanted to go back to Phoenix. Shero cleared cap room and got friendlier with Maloney.

After watching his play over the last couple of games I can surely say that it's possible

Letang is a #1 d-man. Engelland is a #6. Which one is more likely to get moved?

how about a combo of Cole or Gionta and Kaberle on D
must be a combo, and return must be well worthy since we would be dealing with propects who might not pan out

Depres, Bennet and Tangradi?

No. No no no no no.

Kaberle is awful and there is no way that I would give up that many assets for either Cole or Gionta.
