I think Kadri can control the play and I think he can be dominant. For him the difference between 1A and 2A will be consistently. I think that Carlyle giving him the chance is going to equate to Kadri being a sponge and becoming a C that you want to line up against anyone else top C and with Kessel/ JVR on the wings, it will be dynamite. Consistency is key though, like I said so we'll see what he does with the chance

If there is one thing about this board I've noticed is that Kadri has almost always been supported. A few hardcore posters who had some (legitimate) concerns about if he'd ever make it are hardly all you guys. Anyway let's all hope Naz keeps going now he's being given a true chance.
I think he has great vision, he could be a top scorer in the NHL. He seems like a more physical Spezza.. turnovers will happen here and there, but if he can average it out in his favour all will be good.
Savard,raberio both don't and won't have the physical presence that kadri has and let's not forget that he is not playing top six minutes and top six talent otherwise his point production would be greater this kids a player
A reporter asked what the main difference is between Carlyle and Wilson and what Carlyle brings differently.
Kadri said of how Wilson treated him
"I didn't get the impression I was wanted in the lineup , or that I deserved the minutes I may have gotten"
He also states that there is more communication with Carlyle, and that if you are short on minutes or missed minutes, he explains why and there is always a reason
He's mostly likely not the only one with that feeling. Rotten Ronnie was a loser, worst coach for a rebuild possible. Hitchcock gets honerable mention.
Ron Wilson was not a good "rebuild"/young team coach. He didn't get much of his Ducks in the 90's, the Capitals were for the most part a veteran group as was the core of his San Jose teams. Pretty good coach when given veteran talent and players, but was definitely not right for this team. Kadri's comments say a lot.
Wilson was brutal .. When he first was hired I thought he could put a structure into the team, since he had made San Jose an annual playoff team that just couldn't win .. Now I realize I was waaaaaay wrong, and that had San Jose had a better coach over those first couple post lockout years they probably would have had a cup
Wilson made me sick to my stomach I hated the way he bashed kadri through the media. He ruined Kadri completely he had no confidence, and I always new he had the passion and skill to play in this league, I just didn't think he could do in Toronto with the way he was treated. Carlyle changed everything.
