I agree Seguin is Definitely feeling the pressure to get a goal.

He know's hes the go to guy to score, and hes not scoring, so of course he's "gripping the stick to tight".

As for the miss on the empty net, well it happens. It wasn't as bad as Bourque's, i think Seguin was just trying to get the shot through the two islanders that were standing in front of him trying to block it.

I'm sure hell get going, and have a two, or three point night soon. (hopefully)

There were a lot of bad picks in that top-10. Couturier falling to 8th is pretty hilarious too.

Fun fact: Dougie Hamilton has more points than Phil Kessel.

People can lol all they want, but Bourque has been the best forward on that 3rd line.

I may be the only one but I don't think Bourque is that bad. Nor do I think he's sticking out like a sore thumb. He makes good decisions. He just looks too jittery..like he's desperate to make a play. While I like that, he just needs to calm down a bit. He's hardly having a bad time here.

I know he's the new whipping boy but jeesh.

I missed the crowd chanting "Dougie." I must have fell asleep. How loud was it? And I laughed when they played "Teach Me How To Dougie"

Agreed. 5 on 5 he has been that lines best player. Kelly is still a PK maven---but #48 is doing fine.

It was loud, and it was awesome. It was on par with 'Thank You Kessel'. It lasted only about 30 seconds but it was great haha. Must have made the kid feel good.

I was watching Isles feed and their announcer , Howie Rose, mentioned that 3 current B's had fathers play in NHL as well. Been racking my brain all night, got Campbell and Bourque, but who else? Help

I agree that Bourque is nothing special, but he's definitely not as bad as some of you are saying...

The entire 3rd line has been starting slow, I know we need a whipping boy but come on. Give him some time, we don't have much of a better option. Pandolfo would be ripped to shreds, more so than Bourque is already... Spooner wouldn't be much of a difference, and he's better off with a year in Providence with first line minutes. He'll be much better next year than he would be this year with a whole season of premium ice time in the AHL. Caron is hurt and was struggling in Providence, is he a better option than Bourque?

Me too. Fans forget the 2 very good seasons Dennis had with the B's...Plus the last playoff season he was here .

Chara's father single-handedly built the original Garden, but I'm not sure that counts.

Yeah, he is.

Afam, only the last two players to touch the puck before the man who shoots it would be awarded an assist.

Lane MacDermid's dad Paul played for 12-15 years. That's my guess

Didn't Wides make the all star team after he left the B's ??? Couldn't have been that bad.

I liked Dennis when he was here. I thought some fans were nasty to him so for his sake I am happy he is not here. Most of the STH near me liked Wides and thought the Boos were uncalled for.

I think if you look at the time he spent in Boston it was more good than bad. In fact he was really good for more than a year.
