Absolutely love your idea! However, you might want to customize it down to 48 seasons for this year instead of the regular 82!

If you can keep up with these stats, PlayerToBe, it will be awesome to have. Lots of information up there, I like it.

Don't be too surprised, though, if there isn't a lot of conversation in this thread at first. The numbers won't mean much untill we get alot more games in. We need enough to see trends, and that will take time.

So I was having this debate tonight

Who would you take in nets

Toskala (2009)
Raycroft (2007)
Cujo (2010)
Reimer (2013)
scrivens (2013)
Cardboard cutout (1993 that comes with a plastic net)

Reimer. We know how the others ended, Reimer 2013...could turn out to be as good as 2011 or as bad as 2012.

Cujo didn't play in 2010 by the way.

Valid point. But I'm gonna agree to disagree on that one.

Reimer 2013. Raycroft and Toskala were brutes. Reimer has shown signs of brilliance.

We need a goalie that can win at home. We haven't had that since Eddie Belfour. This is the biggest spotlight and even worse when the team is young and without playoffs for a while.

It's the booze

And Ron Wilson, that "run and gun" style made all our tenders look bad .. Although since Toskala played under Wilson before and flopped massively, he'd be the last one I want between the pipes

Yeah just checked. sub .900 save %

Maybe it just seemed like that cause the team was the best since the lockout.

God that is so sad lol.

Or maybe it was just the fact that Raycroft played about 95% of the teams games. He finished with 37 wins, but lost his fair share as well.

Just for the one year or for keeps? If it's for just one season I'd take Reimer, but over the long term Scrivens.

It's a shame Raycroft couldn't regain his form he looked solid in Boston. Then again so did Byron Dafoe

it's sad that raycroft put up almost 40 wins with a sub .900 sv% on the leafs.

Would have made the playoffs if he could have been even remotely close to average .910

Big surprise we haven't made the playoffs in nearly a decade.
