Rick Nash >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Marion Gaborik. Cause I've never heard of Marion Gaborik as it says in the title. Marian Gaborik, well that's a completely other question.

Gaborik;

I think there were a lot of excuses for Nash because of where he played and who his teammates were but I don't see him being much better than he already is just because he is on a new team.

Just wait to see how he plays this year with some motivation. Hard to play at a high level when your team is talking about throwing the season for the #1 pick

Pull this up at the end of the year, it'll be obvious Nash was more beneficial to the Rangers than Gaborik will have been
FWIW, I agree 100%.

Nash sucked on Team Canada as well, guess he had no motivation to win an Olympic gold also?

Rick Nash has 53 points in 54 senior international games.

Please, tell me about these goals he gets. He's supposed to be one of the top three or five goal scorers in the league and he has scored 30, 32, and 33 the past three seasons. In his four playoff games, he put exactly one in the net.

Nash isn't an elite goal scorer who gets lots of goals. He's a GOOD goal scorer who has had a couple of big seasons. Arguably the most overrated player in the league. He's broken 70 points once. Gaborik in his last five seasons: 76 in 82; 48 in 62 (63 in 82); 86 in 76 (93 in 82); 23 in 17 (111 in 82); 83 in 77 (88 in 82).

Nash has never come near that kind of scoring. The idea that Nash is a better player than Gaborik is, frankly, silly.
You completely are ignoring that Nash is more durable than Gaborik.

I will openly say I voted Gabby before the season but I would easily change my vote now. Even in two horrible games Nash has done enough to make me a believer. Protects the puck so well...which means a lot on a team who can't ******* posses the puck.

He wasn't great in that specific tournament, but he's been great in most international play
