I used to go to school with Charles Sarault in St. Isidore, ON but I haven't seen him in a few years. I am still wondering why he has never been drafted despite being so dominant in the OHL. Do scouts believe his points came from playing with Yakupov and Galchenyuk?

I am assuming he will most likely sign as a free agent for an NHL team in the near future, but it just seems odd that such a talent goes undrafted, or maybe I am missing something.

Sarault

I have wondered the same thing about Charlie, I do think that last year his success was probably put down to being Yakupov's line mate. However, we all know now that he is on his own a very skilled two-way player. Today he was interviewed between periods in the Windsor game and he admitted to being a late bloomer. So I think you are right, he will be picked up as a free agent with an NHL team and hopefully will have great success in his hockey career. We sure love him here in Sarnia.

Certainly wouldn't mind the Devils picking him up, been hearing good things about him. =) (also hearing he's been good with Boucher ;D )

If the Habs play the next 4 games the same way they did against the Leafs on Saturday it won't be long before Gally is back with the Sting. They looked terrible and that was against the Leafs. Wait til they play against some real competition.

And he was suppose to attend the Montreal Canadiens camp this past fall before the lockout occurred. He'll find his way into an NHL organization

In fairness, Montreal always looks awful against the Leafs for whatever reason. Anyone who only watches Montreal in those games (which appears to be half of everyone), would think the Habs are brutal.

Big win last night for the Sting. If they can grab two more points in the second half of the home and home against Plymouth it would be great.

Also, nice to see Reid Boucher with 2 more goals to be the first CHL player to reach the 40 goal plateau.

Where was DeAngelo? He's not on the game sheet and there's nothing mentioned on the Sting web site.

It's no surprise he was a healthy scratch. He was acting like an ass to Moore every time he came back to the bench and on the the ice. I don't know if he thought he was playing bad or what. I thought he did ok. He did miss his assignment on plymouths first goal, then took a brutal knee and still came back to have a pretty solid game. Letowski finally told him to shut his yap and benched him for the rest of the game. Then he was kind of arguing with both J.B and Letowski and went and sulked in the middle of the bench beside Dipaolo, who sadly didn't see a shift, but took it like a class team mate. Then at the the end of the game he didn't celebrate with the boys hardly and was first off the ice. This kid has a ton of potential and talent, but sadly a brutal attitude/anger problem/ego, whatever you want to call it. Hopefully a scratch game will help to change that. I doubt it though.

Just heard from a credible source within the organization that the Sting have been informed Gally isn't coming back to Sarnia

Habs make it official.
Not that it's a surprise but Galy to stick with the Habs. Tweeted by loosepucks.

Didn't think there was much chance he'd be sent back.

Sucks bigtime for Sarnia to lose two dynamic underage young players in one year but not really unexpected!
