Probably the most important match in 3 hours, it could determine the 1st round opponent. Slovan lost the first game against Severstal 0:6. Good news is that Vondrka is back and Svatoš will have his debut.

Before Slovan joined KHL, I cheered for Riga for the same reasons

Solid period by Slovan. Outplayed Minsk badly other than the 5v3. Controlled the play, easily could have had another one or three, tons of chances including Kyntar missing that empty net. Great individual effort by Mojzis on that goal, caused the turnover, nice move, created space and a great shot.

shots: 33-25 so far, we are on pace to see 50-38 shots game, both keepers seen a lot of rubber. Could easily end 6-2 as well as 2-6. Great game, even if it remains low scoring game.

Edit: later in 3rd they shown shots 26-23, should know 33-25 after 2nd is bs.

Glad we scored after we were shut down by Severstal, we already needed that damn goal. Slovan also needs to improve PPs.

Damn. Oh well. Slovan likely needs 2 regulation wins in the last 5 games to maintain that 6th spot, if they get lucky.

Hopefully they don't fall completely flat, still a chance they miss playoffs outright...

These shots from sharp anhgles are useless until there arent screening bodies, or at least someone fishing for juicy rebound.
