Dubinsky has been playing LW for the BJs?

Would be ****ing awesome to start this season 5-0-0... win 10% of the whole schedule in 5 games.

Lets go Hawks!!

Hawks win an easy one... 4-1.

Stalberg (4)

I don't mind going CC tonight and Emery tomorrow if that is the case. Emery was money at home last year, and if he doesn't start tomorrow he wouldn't get any home starts the first month. And there's no excuse to lose to Detroit even with him in, that team isn't very good and the Hawks should be able to bury them off the rush.
IDK, Detroit looked pretty good last night.

Dangerous 2 games and the first b2b. The Hawks can easily overlook Columbus but the BlueJackets have played tough at home, besides being a divisional road game. If the Hawks bring anything less than a solid effort. it may not turn out well. Need to keep the pedal to the metal. Emery needs to have a much better showing. Lets do this.

Crawford is starting tonight. Sassone said he's starting tomorrow too.

2 days off after this back to back.

I heard Mason was starting. In that case, the "bad goaltending" line has merit.

That's good to hear. Crawford has been playing well other than the puck pooping. .

I know, it's nuts. Doubt anyone ever scores enough to match his assist output alone.

Hawks among league leaders: Seabrook (1st in blocked shots), Toews (2nd in faceoffs won), Hossa (2nd in goals), Kane (5th in assists).

I have a feeling tonight Saad will get his first NHL goal

Kid is getting more comfortable with each game and I think is close to burying his first

This will be a very telling game. It has all the elements of a trap game - (1) everything going well with 4-0 start, (2) bottom feeder opponent, (3) big game against most hated rival tomorrow. So it will be very interesting to see if this season's Hawks team is mentally focused enough to be a truly elite team, or if the 4-0 start is more of a tease than an accurate picture of the team.

I almost hope that the BJs score the first goal just to see how the Hawks react - whether they redouble their effort or get back on their heels and let CLB dictate the game.

Keeping my fingers crossed. It would be sweet to welcome the Wings into our building sporting a 5-0 record.

good work on that graphic in the OP

will be a tough game and not that easy. Hawks will win in the end. Good to not see Emery on the Ice

Best of luck to Craw. Make us proud and prove us doubters wrong. He's getting the b-2-b games. This tells us about Emerys value

Stalberg with at least two goals. Only if we played Cowtown every game, he'd win the Rocket Richard.

They always get up to play us though. And I could see taking us down as a launchpad to throw them back into the mix of top teams.
