Redux is still brilliant. Seeing Zanons beard made the entire thing worth seeing again for me. Great GDT.

Your boys seem to have our number. I just hope we can get through the game with no major injuries for either team.

So it looks like a 99% chance Gomez will play.
Desi out and Zus still in? Why, Koala, why?

Same reason that he puts Zues and Murray on the 3-man PK; he likes having big bodies who can clear the crease/screen their goalie.

Zeus was 15-1 on faceoffs Thursday. He's been great on the PK, more ice time than any forward. Keep him playing, can't afford to have guys like Joe and Marleau spending so much time killing penalties with the shortened season. Keep them for 5-5 and PP time

On that 5-on-3, I wanted them to kill it not for the team, but for Zues' effort. Dude was a stud on that PK.

Agreed, blocking shots and giving it his all. He seems like a man on a mission of redemption, hopefully he keeps up the pace!

It almost reminded me of the 5 on 3 kill with Grier in the PO's against Edmonton.

considering i think the desi being out came from line ups at practice. desi was the odd man out and gomez fitted in center on the 4th line, while the 3rd stayed the same.

Is it just me, or does Gomez seem ill-equipped for 4th line duties? PP aside, I hope he doesn't end up in a similar predicament as Ferrerio, not good enough for top 6 but without the skill sets for the bottom 6. He is without a doubt a better player than Desi, but I am nmot sure he will be better in the 4C role.

Although Handzus has played well to date, I hope they are warming Gomez up for a 3C role.

Wow. Avs fan here. Love the GDT. I think I remember it from before, but it feels all new again. Great job slocal !

I can't stop laughing at the details on some of the players. So good. Also keeping tabs on my 2 year old taking a bath, and he thinks I'm laughing at what he's doing and keeps giggling too.

I have to ask how do you do the player artwork. Is it all manual? What do you use?

And might I have permission to use the Hejduk one for an avatar?
