Niger are not a good team but they got some chances in today's game and got their first ever point in the competition. Missed opportunity for Congo DR who now have to beat Mali

1. Ghana 4 +1
2. Mali 3 0
3. Congo DR 2 0
4. Niger 1 -1

Ghana vs. Niger
Mali vs. Congo DR

Yes, you're right, I just saw the highlights and they hit the post early on.

Also, did anyone else think that the penalty in the Ghana-Mali match was kind of iffy? It looked like the defender was going for the ball.

Zambia - Nigeria 1:1
Ethiopia - Burkina Faso 0:4

Zambia-Nigeria was a real boring game, Nigeria scored on a terrible mistake at the back for Zambia while Zambia scored on a soft penalty. Both sides have been real disappointing in this tournament and now each face must win games in the final group match.

Burkina Faso and Ethiopia meanwhile was a pretty good game despite the final score (Ethiopia fell apart after going down two goals). Alain Traore had an amazing performance scoring two great goals for BF. This was Burkina Faso's first win at a ACN since 1998! Burkina Faso's goalkeeper though was sent off but it didn't effect the game too much

1. Burkina Faso 4 +4
2. Nigeria 2 0
3. Zambia 2 0
4. Ethiopia 0 -4

Zambia vs. Burkina Faso
Nigeria vs. Ethiopia

Alain Traore is a good football player with one of the most amazing shot in the game.

Overrated players, uninspiring play, underwhelming results, failure at penalties, and culture obsessed with useless royalty.

Nigeria is the England of Africa.

dominating performance from Ivory Coast, though Tunisia could have equalized late in the match

We have good players and a good coach, but the problem is elsewhere

We are playing SCARED

Cant handle the pressure

Oh man I miss the Algeria NT from the 80's

Those were MEN

I miss Madjer, Belloumi, Assad, Dahleb, etc

They faced teams like West Germany and Brazil, and were not impressed

Nowadays, we are nervous vs Tunisia and Togo, lol

yup

We could have used Belfodil who is tearing it up in Serie A, but he will join the NT after the ACN

Instead, we have Mr Stiff Slimani

Not a penalty for me

then Lacen grabs the referee, could have another red card

Algeria should have gotten at least one penalty

now the goal post has almost tipped over and the game delayed a long time, although the 90 minutes have run out it will probably be 10-15 minutes added on

Ref apparently can't keep time. Added 13 minutes onto the 16 additional minutes already played.
