Wonder if I went to some "hick" town that does not see many Canadians down in the US and handed some of the pictured below over to pay and say it is Canadian money if it would work....

I just look at where it says 1 or 5 or 10 or 20. It's a pretty easy indicator.

If you are used to American money, it is not a hassle at all.

For the people talking about differentiation, it takes me .000001 seconds to figure out which bill is which. Give it a year of looking at currency and you will figure it out very quickly.

You realize it is more or less impossible to use real Canadian money in The States, right?

Because I don't speak French and that extra ****ing 'u' always throws me off.

I've been turned down many times. I imagine it's even harder with the new bills; they don't even look like real money

Definitely prefer the look and feel of Canadian over American money. Even with our older bills, it just looked and felt better.

Having said that, definitely like the idea of a $1 bill. Hell, I'd even endorse the return of the $2.

I prefer one color. Plus, it makes sense from an anti-counterfeiting standpoint as it forces people to actually know what bills are supposed to look like and notice obvious faults that low quality forgeries have, compared to just going off of color on a fraction of a second's glance.
