4pm EST, COL vs. SJ on NHLN.

A good chance to see the Sharks at a decent hour.

Such a dumb play by O'Byrne. It's a ****ing hit, deal with it. Take the number and get him later. I hate fights after hits.

Got watch it again, but AT FIRST GLANCE it looked like a head shot to me. Looked like he snapped his head back with his forearm.

Have to see it again.

I watched it again, I dunno. Seems like he gets contact to the head.

What do you guys think?

Seemed like a good hit. But I think he definitely hit the head first.

Yeah, but it looks like Landeskog ducks at the last moment. Should be a clean hit, he put himself in a **** position and paid for it.

Yeah, these things and their interpretation are beyond me anymore (whether legal or not), but I would agree with the above.

John Mitchell in the box for Colorado. 2 black eyes, huge gash on the forehead and another across the bridge of his nose.
This was him yesterday...

Arnott signs one year with Rangers. Around 1.6 or 1.7 million hit.

Marleau has 8 goals already. On pace for 96 goals.

The only question: Will he get 100?

Rangers and Flyers GM's make moves to improve their club, Penguins do the opposite, thank you Penguins, you guys make me proud.

What do the Pens want with a 38 year old center?

I'm not saying Arnott would have improved the Penguins.

Rangers needed a better center than Boyle and Halpern, they went out and got Arnott.

Flyers lost Scott Hartnell and are without Daniel Briere and they went out and signed Knuble.

Penguins bench players in favor of inferior players, and promote role players (Kennedy to the 2nd line, Glass to the 3rd)

I wonder if Shero was thinking about Gomez. 700k for one year is a no risk deal.

Nah, Shero has stated time and time again that "he likes the team"

Briere is playing today I think.

We need to have a rejig of the team.

Not sure the geezers the Rags and Flyers singed are a great solution to anything either. It'd be like the Pens bringing Bill Guerin back or something.

Personally, I think the Arnott signing is a good one for the Rangers. He's a good C, lost his legs a bit but still has the ability and is better than what they currently have. Not that expensive and if it's only a year or two his cap won't be a problem in the future.
