Rangers are the only team that doesnt move much on the powerplay.. i never understood this
it's like they stand around with hands made of stone only to make a crappy pass back the point and lose the puck back over the blue line....or they try to force a shot only for the shot to be blocked time and time again...i have never seen a powerplay so impotent

we need an assistant coach who knows how to work the powerplay.....i mean how many years are we going to go through this?.....the funny thing now is that although our PK hasn't been bad it hasn't been like last years where whenever the other team got a PP our PK was always there to negate it
i hope Rangers will be getting the tape of the Sharks powerplay today.. Sharks scored another powerplay goal.. 3 powerplay goals during the game so far. it would take 2 months for the Rangers to score 3 powerplay goals

We don't have the personnel to operate that type of PP.

Nash Gaborik Richards Callahan.. just crash the net. the Rangers dont have a legit offensive dman so just shoot the puck at the net and crash it. make the simple play instead of these stupid behind the back no lock crappy overpasses

We don't have a Boyle or Pavelski, both skilled RH star players or Thornton, possibly best pure passer in the league. It's not a coaching thing entirely, we just don't have players that compliment each other. No one can skate the puck down the ice like Boyle can on our time, which is why I was advocating to trade for him.

well if is not the coaching then change the players on the powerplay if the players are not moving around and just standing still
'change the players', easier said then done. We're gonna alter our roster imo to fix the PP.
just dont the players that dont move around on the ice for the powerplay.. use players that are actually to try to create something, not just waiting for the one timer or waiting for a pass.
Sharks have 4 power play goals... Irwin first NHL goal... Irwin was a teammate of Danny Hobbs at Umass. I wonder if NYR tried to sign him before he signed with San Jose Sharks.
And Rangers that is how you stand up for your young kid who just got rocked.
