You know what you're missing, zzoo? I'd probably get an infraction... so I'll just say you're missing CONTEXT. One is getting more ice time, plays so much PP, is older and one is not.

Elitserien, SEL, Swedish Elite League.

The highest one.

I wonder how many shoot-out winning goals + penalty shot goals the average
team gets in a year. Collberg has 4 in about 5 games. This should be a record.
Maybe an insurmountable record.
I'm also wondering if there is any news about his injury.

Nygren is on the ice for 75% of his team's powerplay time. 8 of his 10 goals are PP markers. Collberg has only been on the (second) PP unit for 4-5 games.

Nygren plays for a better team ? more ice time ? older ? or Nygren is simply that good ?
What a random question...

You could ask the exact same question about Markov and Galchenyuk and get a similar answer. Does that help?

Not a good game for Collberg or any of his teammates on Tuesday. He still managed to be just -1 in 15 minutes of ice time in the 6-1 loss to Modo.

Collberg kept invisible mode on for Thursday's game (3-2 road win against HV71). Played 14 minutes, 0 SOG.

Attempting to come in next season would be a mistake. Coming in as a 20 year old to Hamilton makes much more sense. Kristo will probably be there then and he'll have a winger to contribute with him.

Staying there another year is best for his development. Better to have him develop there than playing AHL at 19.

still young, and, like someone said below, hopefully Kristo will be in hamilton next year. something tells me by the end of next year, 2-3 bulldogs will be fighting for spots on this team.

kristo
leblanc

I would guess the deal may have an NHL out clause anyway, but definitely better he stays there another year with Ronnberg coming in as HC.

I'm sure his agent contacted Rockstrom or Bergevin about this, really don't see why they'd object when his alternative is playing for Lefebvre.

I have a feeling Tinordi makes the team out of camp next year.

Kaberle, Bouillon and Weber will probably be out of the picture. Assuming there are no changes it would be Markov Subban Gorges Emelin Diaz Tinordi.

Don't get that comment. So Bergevin agrees with the move 'cause if not he'd be playing for Lefebvre??? Can Bergevin actually fire Lefebvre if he's so bad or did we sign a 10-year contract with him? Does Lefebvre have some naked pictures of Bergevin?

Dissapointed for the Dogs 'cause having Kristo on that team isn't enough. There are 12 spots up front to fill. And while not having Nygren on D makes more sense based on how many prospect will have back there, it doesn't apply to forwards. I would have love to see Collberg being use to play around here for 1 year before making the big jump. Now, we will have to count on him to make the jump in the NHL after next year 'cause he is the kind of player that would be able to make it...but his adaptation might not be all easy to do. We will see.

The Lefebvre part of the comment wasn't serious, I just can't resist an opportunity to **** on Lefebvre.

I just don't think this is a bad thing. It's not a case of Kristo playing at a level he's too good for, either way Collberg still has a year or so to go to learn how to play against adults.

SEL starts up again tonight after the national team break, Frölunda @ Färjestad. Collberg still stuck on a line with Brunnström...
