Corrado/McEneny

Anyone know if these guys are playing on as a pairing in Kitchener? Could be dangerous for us in a few years. McEneny is still only 18 - if he gets off to a strong start next year maybe he'll play in the WJCs.

I believe they have played some special teams together, but 5-on-5 they aren't normally playing as a D-pair.

That is 2nd hand info though... maybe someone can confirm?

I would love a potential number 1 center in our system too, but then again, who wouldn't? Every team in the league would love to draft a stud franchise centerman but only a few get them. I'm content with our prospects right now, but I want us to get another first or even just more top 3 round picks in this draft because it's so loaded.

Last night Corrado was paired with Fanelli.

Basically the Hamhuis-Bieksa pairing for the team matching up head to head with MacDavid.

McEneny played with Murphy as the Edler-Ehrhoff-type pair.

McEneny I would say has NO shot at the world juniors next year.

Smart player, makes good passes, but is not physical at all.

Whatever happened that Finnish goalie the Canucks signed a couple of years ago? I'd look him up but I misremember his name.

Iihotlloloithi... or something like that.

Jonathan Iilahti

no idea what happened to him. Thought he was Giants property & that he'd be coming to the Giants.

I haven't seen him play a single meaningful game, ever.

Nice. I'd forgotten they sent him down as well.

I thought he was supposed to have improved last year under MacT; it's unfortunate that he seems to have regressed under Arniel... as with Sweatt and Rodin.

^ Fire Arniel. Doesn't seem like any prospect really thrived while under him.

So Sauve is sucking this year then? End of last season I had him pencilled in as a guy who could see some games on injury call-ups. Like maybe 9-10 on the depth chart. At this point, is he even making the depth chart?

I actually like what I saw from McEneny, does need to use his size a bit more at times, but I think he was a great signing, the equivalent of a late 2nd/3rd rounder IMO.

My thoughts exactly. (not to mention the team hasn't played more alot of this year)

Would be behind Alberts, Barker, Vandermeer, Joslin, Counnauton and Andersson probably at the moment. IMHO he is gone, some other team will pick him up for a PTO or something next year in the hope he still has a hope to make it to his 'potential'.

Hahaha, all you guys are overreacting. He was sent down for a reconditioning stint after missing around 15 games with an injury. Pretty sure I saw Paul LaTour mention it.

Do you see him being signed to another contract by the Nucks?
