Nah, Bergevin played hockey professionally and eats meat, so this is a brilliant move that shows gutsy leadership.

Renaud Lavoie @RenLavoieRDS
The Bulldogs release Mike Commodore who had a PTO in Hamilton. He's now UFA.
Hopefully Pateryn is ready to go.

oh vey...
what's with our organization being so out of whack?
firing an assistant, again, mid-season?
such a weird move to make, in the habs case, it was Gauthier going over the head coach's head to make the move... in this case it's apparently the HC who thinks his "philosophy" doesn't mesh??? aren't you supposed to figure that sh*** out BEFORE the season starts?
it's not like Wilson was a new, unknown guy... he's been in the organization for ever, how the hell did the people in charge not know what to expect from his "philosophy"
would love to hear the players take on the situation,...

He was pretty useful... maybe he wanted to get an NHL contract.

Might also mean that Pateryn is healthy and ready play.

Tinordi is bound to become a fan favorite in Montreal. Really like how he is developing and maturing.

Not surprised to see Wilson go since he was left over from last year, hopefully it's not the only change they make before next season starts.
Did a mid-season report card if anyones interested.

Obviously the braintrust thought otherwise and I would tend to agree with them

Derek Wills @dogsplaybyplay
#HamOnt @BulldogsAHL forward lines: Bournival-Tenute-Leblanc / Blunden-Dumont-Holland / Quailer-Chaput-Murovich / Hagel-Fortier-Stortini
Just send Avtsin back to Russia already and stop wasting his time...this is a flipping joke. Murovich? A guy on a PTO? Really?

Nattinen is likely out for the season. Pateryn and Palushaj skated with the team today and shouldn't be out much longer.

He played 2 games and was re-sent to ECHL when Habs sent back 7 players to Hamilton after the training camp.

Wrong thread.
Bulldogs go to another shootout, already 1-5 on the season in them.
Beaulieu ties the SO, he's 3 for 3 on the season.
8th round of SO now.

Chaput scores in round 9. Sutherby misses, the Dogs win. Desjardins' 11 game losing streak ends. 10 game road losing streak for the team ends too.

Very good game from the Dogs tonight. Beaulieu had a pretty game tonight. Tinordi was good tonight, seemed more physical than normal. Laid a guy out as they were breaking out and then got in a fight. Also had a few solid hits later in the game. Gabriel Dumont was the best of our prospects tonight. Like normal, he worked really hard and had some chances. His goal game from stealing the puck from the goalie behind the net and then put it in the open cage.
Beaulieu scores yet again in the shootout. Pretty nice goal.
3 for 3 in shootouts this year. All three of his attempts have been in the last 4 games.
EDIT: beaten by Marc by a long shot. Should have scrolled up.
