Much like the horse I picked today (GKJ's favorite jockey). Three-for-four today.

Lucas was out of hockey early. Heard he is coaching in Maine. He was diagnosed with cancer. Seems to have beaten it. Good story, otherwise.

I think L Schenn and Gervais have both been really solid this game. Pretty exciting to see the news guys showing potential.

It's amazing how we finally have a competent 6th dman in Gervais and no more old farts who can't skate worth ****.

I tried to see the snow outside yesterday, but Simmonds kept getting in my way.

I really want Wayne Simmonds to wear skate guards. Every highlight he is is camped in front of the net and he's bound to catch a puck off his foot.

Just remembered one of the Leafs fans coming here saying he felt sorry for us since, quote "Luke is basically one eye blind and can play only one (left?) side"....

LOL so true. Not to mention he's been pretty much a rock defensively. Dare I say it? Toronto got "Homered" in that trade.

Look at Luke Schenn's time on ice through the first 4 games....

G4: 21:56
G3: 19:30
G2: 18:42
G1: 17:11

Think Lavy likes what he sees?

So far tonight, he is our top defenseman for TOI and on pace for another 22 minutes (14:15 so far).

While we are having a very nice game, we're not exactly playing the '85 Oilers tonight.

Don't forget can't skate either. "slow as hell" was another term they used as well.

None of which is true.

Thanks for the donation Toronto. Much obliged.

To be fair, Luke was like 25 pounds heavier when he played in Toronto since Burke wanted him to be so truculent and ****. He's a lot faster now then he was at any point last year.

He looks like a solid 215 but i'm just speculating. I know for a fact he isn't no 230 as he's listed on his player profile on many hockey sites.

How much of a violation is the "Panther" noise to start the period? Corny.
