If Hudon's able to stay healthy, that pick is looking really good.

Hudon ends with 2g 1a. Schultz with 2 goals! I'm still pulling for him.

He actually played earlier in the week and had a goal and an assist in that game.

Seems like he's playing with Lipon and Smith again.

Good to see Hudon continues with his breakout season. Watched a little of the game last night while waiting for the North Dakota game, Hudon tied his career high in goals so looks like he's going smash his goal totals this year, so will be interesting to see how much he can progress again next year in the Q and what he can do for Team Canada.

Not a very good night for either Kristo or MacMillan as they lost a tough one against one of the top teams in the NCAA. Hopefully the rebound tonight as ND needs the points but in order to do so they are going to need better goaltending. MacMillan was back on the 2nd LW again although they had a rough night as a -2 (although Kristo's line was changing seconds before the 3rd goal for SCSU) I do wonder if the lines will be mixed up again tonight to shake things up. I'd rather see MacMillan back on the top line and his brother on the 2nd line.

Hudon has an assist. Chicoutimi is down 5-2 right now.

Kristo just a nice goal on the PK. The goalie was sloppy with the puck, which resulted in Knight picking it up behind the net and he made a nice pass to Kristo.

Kristo with a goal and an assist so far. Game is tied. Nice to see him produce against a real good team since I heard whispers of that maybe being a weakness (though I always think that's a bogus criticism anyways against any player).

In the past Kristo has had some of his worst games against the top teams but it could just be his lack of consistency as he also has some of his best games against the top teams. This year he's played in 8 games vs Minnesota, SCSU and Denver, he's got 5 points in those games and they are 3 of the top teams in the NCAA. That's not overly impressive at least he's had production in several of those games.

This is the time of the year when games get real tough as it's all conference games now till the playoffs in 6 weeks so every point counts if you want home ice and they need to stay in the race for the Frozen Four tournament. So far the only team that is far out from making the tourny is Mac Bennett's Michigan, losing Bennett for much of the regular season is going to hurt an already shaky team. The rest of the teams are either on the bubble or are all but locks unless they totally fall apart going forward.

So we'll see how Kristo does, he had another good bounce back game after a tough one on Friday so you like to see it. Plus he remains tied for 2nd in the NCAA in goals and 5th in points, so he continues to put up impressive numbers which is great to see. I was hoping they would move MacMillan to Kristo's line since his older brother was not playing but too bad they kept him on the 2nd LW again.

Older brother? As in, Mark isn't playing. What happened?

Dietz with a PP goal today, his 100th WHL point. Saskatoon destroyed Morgan Rielly's team. Yet Dietz was even. Thrower went +1 with no points.

Hudon with an assist.

The lines have been getting shuffled around quite a bit, so he keeps getting moved all over the place. Apart from just an awful game against St. Cloud on Friday night, he's actually been playing alright, despite being held point in his last five. Lots of energy still, just having some trouble corralling the puck and there's little chemistry. There were a few times on Saturday night when he'd gain possession down low and then no one would come and help him out, or he'd make a pass and no one would be there. With all the line shuffling, there seems to be very little cohesion between MacMillan and his different line mates. He's playing very effectively in his own zone and he's still playing his style of game, just seems to be a typical slump in production.

Hopefully he's gets moved back up to the top line with Knight and Kristo, because he looked very good when he played there.

Regarding Hudon, does anyone happen to know what % of his team's goals is he in on?

Because it seems like whenever they score goals he has a point on them

He's having a very good season overall but the move to the 3rd line and now the 2nd line haven't gone very well as ND has been trying all season long to find someone to work with the Kristo-Knight duo, MacMillan has looked the best there out of anyone else imo but then they struggle getting additional scoring. Plus while he has just 1 point in his last 6 games, 4 of those games were against 2 of the top teams currently in the NCAA.

Will be interesting to see what happens, I like him and want to see him brought over but I still haven't heard if the new cba rules regarding Euro picks applies to previous draft picks or not. If he can work on his skating/mobility/foot speed could be a good addition as he's huge for a just turned 20 year old, looks really big out there to me and he's clearly got some hands on him but wow is that skating rough to watc.

Pribyl seems to be somewhat clutch, for what it's worth.
