I wouldn't mind if the Rangers started 1-4.

Asham, aka Mario Lemieux's secret parasitic twin, got absolutely dropped by mike brown.

Orr then pummelled Rupp. Rupper is having a rough season. Good to see Orr back.

Kessel still gets iffy when there's anyone near him. Flubs passes, plain coughs the puck up.

I'm surprised they haven't given them the cup yet.

Cherry should be called Cherry picker.

Calls out the refs for letting fights go on too long when one or both guys are spent. Cites Orr and England. Ironic b/c he called out Lucic when he fought Orr.

However, do profoundly agree w/ him a/b linesman and dropping the puck at faceoffs. It's become totally ridiculous.

It's Chara's fault.

I've had the leafs rags game on in the background most of the night and in the last shift Kessel was on he gave away the puck 3 times. Twice trying to get out of his own end. He is struggling badly it appears so far this year.

You only get 17 shots and let in five goals you don't win games in the NHL.

Kessel: TOI 19:15, minus-2

Yowser.

Randy Carlyle played 27 year old rookie Mike Kostka and Dion Phaneuf for over 31 and a half minutes. No wonder it didn't work out.

Damian Cox was calling for a Kostka extension after the 2nd period.

The Toronto defensive TOI is pretty bizarre to say the least.

THE STATS GUY ‏@TH2NSTATSGUY
Phaneuf: -3 vs Islanders. Has had a plus rating once in last 15 games

That's from earlier this week, make it 16. He's now dead last in the league at -8 I believe.
