Great job.
Still worried as it's becoming clear this is a one line team.

precisely why the first period meltdown was dumb, we dominated all 60 minutes of that game
Gaborik
Staal
Richards
but pretty much everyone played really really well

All I can say is that now that Rick Nash has talent around which to play, the sky is now the limit for him - 8 points for his line tonight.

3 stars:
1. Gaborik
2. Nash
3. Del Zotto
HM: Marc Staal
Good: Pretty much everyone
Bad: Defense on the goals against, PP
Redden: Nothing, maybe the powerplay
This looked like a game from last year. Speed, tenacity, physicality, well timed goals, rock solid D. HUGE win, I think this could be a catalyst for a winning streak.
Oh, and the gate was left open again.

The bandwagon is full again.
Even when they were trailing, they were dominating the opposition. So happy with the team's effort tonight.
Hagelin won so many puck battles. Boyle hit everything in sight. Del Zotto played great at both ends.

Nice to get the win from being down 2.
But this team has some serious system issues. We got the bounces in the 3rd, but they can't be too happy with this game.
It was unbearable for the first two periods. Especially their breakouts. I don't think its a personnel or effort problem. These are system issues that were around last year; they are just more pronounced this year.
They REALLY needed to win this game, another loss would have put them in a serious hole. At least now they have something to work with.

What are half the posters going to talk about until the next game?
But seriously, they needed that win and they played an incredible third. I think they really just needed confidence. You could see them all skating harder and playing smarter once they built up a head of steam, everyone, including Boyle, Hagelin, Stepan, Staal and the other whipping boys so far.

I melted down early because of the start we've had combined with our record when the Rangers play the Leafs when my mother-in-law is over to watch with us. Usually we get stomped when she watches her Leafs play us.

Three stars:
1)As a unit, the EW&F line. 8 points. Count 'em; EIGHT!!!
2)Marc Staal. Great on D and fueled the comeback on offense.
3)What the hell, I lied Ferriero's effort, I'll toss him a bone.
