well.. that was crystal clear, we're nothing more then a weak bubble team. The rangers played a very good game and proved to be simply superior than the leafs. There was absolutely nothing on the offence.. completely dry.

Gonna have to watch the replay. If it was his fault, then that's:

1 goal he scored. 1 goal he set up. 1 goal against he should have prevented.

You can do that math, right? You do realize that the Grabo line was being matched against Nash-Richards-Gaborik, right? Care to guess why? That's a bad result head-to-head?

Ranger's size and Torts playing the hell out of the Nash line hurt the Leafs tonight.

Did you watch? They weren't exactly very hard shots. Reimer played great as-well and did make some big saves but for the most part, those shots were standard goalie stops. And I consider the goaltender to be a part of the defense so if the goalie has a good game I take that into account as the team playing well defensively.

Leafs got beaten by a better team tonight, The Richards line beat the Grabo line in the 3rd, plain and simple. that's what money can buy you. Our guys didn't match up, need to upgrade our top 6 and D, last 2 games are starting to tell a story, like last year. Don't have the horses.

Lettuce be reality, it was the New York Rangers vs the Toronto Maple Leafs. That is the expected result, we put up a good effort but in the end, the cream rises to the top.

Dear Leafs.
I don't know if you know this, but the game is not 20 minutes in length. It's 60. 60. that's an entire hour. that's 3, 20 minutes. Not just one. this means you HAVE TO PLAY ALL THE TIME.

<3 Daisy Joy.

in all seriousness. a lot of this I'm going to lay on the feet of Wilson, because it's sort of like a switch. When they get tired or pressured it's sort of like they forget whatever Caryle is teaching them and they make bad pinches, bad decisions and "river hockey". You totally saw it in the Buffalo game, you def. saw it in the Islander game and you saw it tonight. RC is going to really have to hammer out 4 years of crap coaching really quickly.

Our player play is crap. And once again it's costing us games. If it's not the PK, it is the PP and we've got to be firing on all of them. (or if not the PP we've got to be scoring ES goals more often. 2-3 a game should be enough to be WINNING the game).

Only our boys in Blue would emphasis maybe the problem isn't in net. but everywhere else. tsk tsk.

He's at best a slightly more offensive version of Komisarek. He's an NHL level defenseman who's good if he plays 15 minutes. Once you get over 15 minutes with him, you're overplaying him.

Ride out this stupid season and continue losing fans (a generation of fans have never seen the Leafs in the playoffs, and their interest in the Leafs, the butt-end of all North American sports jokes, is lukewarm at best)... but at least get a high draft pick, and replace Carlyle with Eakins.

Trade MacArthur. He should have been shipped out alongside Connolly and whatever other pieces of trash we dumped over the off season (Lombardi?).

Our D also needs to be upgraded big time.

As good as Reimer was, he didn't make a single save when the team needed it most. All it takes is one goal in the net and they fold like a sack of potatoes

Ouch. It was bad and really boring to watch. At least Reimer played good too bad he had no help in front of him. Phaneuf played good though a -8 on the season I guess thats what happens when you play loads of minutes.

O well might be time to unload some players and get picks and call it a season. 4/5 outings this season have been brutal.

How can you possibly say that D was good after allowing 12 goals in 120 minutes of play?

We should not have had Mike Kostka on the top pairing tonight. Of course we lost.

I didn't expect anything less from the leafs. Even when the team was up by 2, I knew in my heart that they would blow it - a tendency that has typified this team since the 2002. Terrible.

Then again, look at the rangers lineup and then look at the leafs'. Is everyone really that surprised? The team was outplayed ALL game. Rangers are bigger and better - it's really that simple.

Tank nation reigns supreme after tonight

Obviously the coach gives him minutes for something. I doubt it's because he think Kostka is Thor.
