So you think Reimer should have had a 42 shots against SO? No one here thinks he's Patrick Roy but this game is not on him.

This is a team that will play good on occasion, but we are way too inexperienced and young to be consistent. Just hope to see improvement and look forward to one of the most important off seasons in this teams history.
Which one of our kids do you think killed us tonight ?

and I have to live here and deal with that. (shudder).

It will suck if Calgary got the #1-3 pick.

ENOUGH!!!!

There isn't a team in the league that would make Kessel an offer we wouldn't be able to beat.

How do you know he will walk?

The LEafs aren't even allowed to talk contract with him yet.

Hey Chicken Little, the sky ain't falling.

There were too many passengers tonight, Kessel, Kadri were two of them and they are supposed to be key players. Bozak wasn't good but he looked like he was trying. The 4th. line was okay, they did their job.

The PK is looking better this year.

The PP is complete garbage.

You aren't going to win many games with only 2 lines going (2nd. and 4th.).

Put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig. You can polish a turd it's still a turd. We are terrible, not changing this season. Tank is now being boarded. Few more games and it'll be moving. Short season is a blessing for the leafs fans and the players. We only have to endure half the crap.

Montreal is pretty awful even with Subban. Funny how there are just as many ways to be awful as there are to be good. Price can't carry Montreal any more than Luongo could carry Toronto. I also definitely see us in this group of teams at the end of the year.

Sorry, Leaf fans are not out of touch with reality.

This team, this organization, has never come out and said the Leafs are in a rebuild. Every time Burke was asked, he mentioned the word re-tool.

If the organization came out yesterday and said the Leafs are in full fledged rebuild, you won't find one Leaf fan complaining about the performance on the ice.

Teams that are in rebuild don't trade first round picks. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the Leafs were ever in rebuild.

It's not really making another hole, though. Just how many PFW's does a line need? When we only have 2 of them left on the roster, does it make sense to stick them on the same line?

JVR/Kulemin - Bozak - Kessel ==> PFW - playmaker - sniper
JVR/Kulemin - Grabo - Kadri ==> PFW - sniper - playmaker

Now that the actual NHL calibre players are getting into sync,all the Marlies players are starting to show their true stripes.

Maybe it was a good thing we drafted Rielly and Finn with our first two picks in last years draft.

I'm pretty convinced that if a better team with a better situation for him offered less money, it would be an easy choice for him.

But how do you know the Leafs will even throw the bank at him in the first place? Burke is gone, Kessel was his pet project. He's scored a bunch of goals since he's been here but he can't and does not want to be the player that puts a team on his back when things aren't going well.

There are teams that can afford to pay him well but also offer him things the Leafs can't.

Colton Orr is doing his job better than anyone else on this team. He is employed to fight and has fought two top 5hw, winning both. Dusted off Rupp today. Love to hear all you Xbox snipers explain how poorly he's doing. A nice tank will see Orr protecting a top 3 pick next season.

To be fair, we're at best a bubble team atm, and we played against a very strong contender, one of the favorites to win the cup this year. Tonight's result shouldn't be a shocker to anyone.

Those are the only types of trades I want to see. Just gut the core.
