Interesting, but I thought that it didn't go fast enough (meaning that given the number of episode, they will be fast forwarding through games during the season) and it was really about how habs are dedicated to winning and pleasing the fans...
I wish I would have seen more of the rookies at the camp and how they handled being sent down (especially Leblanc). They should have at least acknowledged that PK wasn't there. Nothing on the players opinion of the lockout (especially Cole), and not much about Gomez.
Therrien gained my respect (even if he said pretty much said the same speach before the intra team game and the first game), but overall, it really seem to be a politically correct show to make the team look good to the eyes of the fans.
Thought it was pretty average. Not much happened, there's a lot of things that could have covered that wasn't even mentioned. They overdid it with the dramatic music and the slow-motion. The sequences during the inter-squad game looked cool at first, then you figure out it's just a succession of images presented at a snail's pace. It that all they took from 24/7? No goal was shown, Price getting injured was ignored and the porous shootout was disregarded.
Were the players scared to go in front of the camera? Only Armstrong exhibited any type of personality. They focused too much on Gally1 who barely talked, yet I don't even believe Gally2 was shown, when the guy who would make for good television. Just like I thought this is not even worth watching, they've got a vice grip on what we can see, thus won't show us anything to hurt their brand.
Gio is a good person and a hardworking guy but oh boy, Gorges seemed so much like the captain during this show. He talks and motivate the guys constantly. Look at his eyes before the game, warrior all the way.
