Knuble did look good out there. In shape and not a deterrent at all. I could see him potting double digit goals this season from the 3rd line which would be huge.

In this shortened season, double digit goals would be roughly a 20-goal scorer.

I would love that, but I don't see it happening. Guess we'll wait and see, but yeah, it's cool to see that he's ready to play.

Yeah he did look good. Plus with Hartnell out there's another big body going to the net without being a total liability, all for $750k.

Tons of good value if he can stay healthy. He's gonna be a good vet for the young guys and even giroux.

I was surprised he was throwing around a few good hits considering the guy is 40 years old.

Knoobs even had 44 seconds on the PK... shows to me the respect Lavy has for him and how he is not afraid to have him on the ice in such situations, if needed... Not a regular shift on the PK, understand, but also not shielding his 40 year old legs from potentially dangerous situations either. On the whole I believe Knuble can be a very good veteran contributor on this young team... even with his better seasons past him.

It is so weird seeing him out there without any of the other guys (Richie, Gagne, etc).

He did have a few decent chances, though. Hope he pots one soon, preferably an OT winner for nostalgia's sake.
