Evander Kane for Subban makes a lot of sense if any of the rumors that Kane was not going to stay in WPG too long were true.

If true, I think Bogosian would be involved.

The more I think about the more I believe Subban would be a perfect fit in Philly.

Of course, he is a perfect fit in Philly. But the bad memory of LeClaire's trade is still fresh. Do not want to see PK in Flyers' uniform.

How about Subban for Gudbranson? Does that make sense now?

Would rather have Gudbranson than Couturier in a trade.

Not saying Subban isn't worth that, but it doesn't seem to make much sense from a Jets prespecitve.

On the other hand, we could arguably have four #1 defenceman on the team...

I would put Subban with Enstrom and they would be basically top 3 pairing in the league. Big Buff and Subbie on the PP would be ridiculously painful for shot blockers as well.

Tell you what, let me hook up my NHL13 and once the Jets are in the west Subban is yours for Trouba, Schiefele and a 2nd!

Jokes, I love Subban and want him to retire a Hab

We are offering elite for elite.....and both Schenns is to much...you would have to bring something else to the table.....
We don't need COuturier, we already have Galchenyuk, Plekanec, Desharnais and Eller
We need big wingers and a replacement right D for Subban

sure we can add a bit, but not much more (Moen?)

And Couturuer is not Elite, 13 goals and 14 assists is not Elite,
Eller had 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 Points and can play a similar role

If you'd prefer a wing to Couturier that's fine, but let's not make the argument that Couturier's rookie season playing with 4th line linemates is somehow a commentary on his ability to become "elite" at some point. Lars Eller doesn't have his ceiling.

I have no interest in having a lesser player as the centerpiece and adding to make the trade even. ie)Voracek+, Simmonds+, Read+, even B. Schenn +...for whatever reason Habs fans think the Schenn Bros is a good or better deal than Couts straight up, I'll take the better player and less filler.

Long story short: Couts for Subban - more than fair for this Habs fan.

But he's not getting traded.

Again we don't need Couturier even you believe he might be the superior player that the Flyers have to offer

The Schenn Brothers fills 2 needs that we have, now and in the future

Braydon would complete a Nice line with Galchenyuk and Gallagher, and Luke would fill the need we have for a Right handed Dman with size caused with void from Subbans departure. We have some nice prospects coming up but they are all lefty's Tinordi and Beaulieu

Tentative lineup

Pacioretty / Desharnais / Cole
Bourque / Plekanec / Gionta
Schenn / Galchenyuk / Gallagher
Prust / Eller / Armstrong
Moen White

Markov / Emelin
Gorgaes / Diaz
Kaberle / Schenn
Boullion / Weber

Does it make sence to now? No need for Couts
we'd have 3 balanced scoring lines, a great 4th line with a balanced D

I agree his ceiling is higher, but you must understand that with the Centers we already have in place we really don't need him. in A year or 2 we won't even have place for Desharnais whom gave us 60 points last year in which was basically his roockie season. Eller fits the third line center perfectly in the future. Galchenyul will become our #1, Plekanek our #2 and Eller #3

Pretty much the schenn brothers or couturier plus a 1st for me if we absolutetly had to trade Subban.

The schenn brothers won't become elite but i can see Brayden becoming a 50-60 points power forward and replace cole and Luke becoming our own Komisarek (when he was good)

We would probably be a better team with both of them than with just Subban.

Still i'd keep Subban before that.

Habs need PK in the lineup. Take the money and sign the $5+ million contract. It worked out just fine for Patch and Price

Feel free to make comments after some sort of deal has been made, but right now all we know is that there is distance between the two sides.
I would'nt say stupid, but he hasn't made an elite move yet

Signed Prust whom I love, but 4 years at 2.5 is questionnable
Signed Moen at almost 2 for 4 years is also questionnable
Signed Boullion whom is a local fav and a good little warrior when our need was for a large right handed Dman
and now the Subban fiasco

A deal of Kane and Trouba, for Subban + would work for me
Subban, Moen and a 2013 2nd or 2014 1st?

Kane is a complete *******, why in the hell would we want him in MTL when he can't even behave himself in Winnipeg?

no thanks

Kane and Trouba for Subban, Moen and a 2013 2nd round pick(NAS) is a good deal for Jets fans?

That's actually kind of hilarious. What's so bad about him having a record label shaved into his head anyway?

You're right. I know him and he's one of the biggest meatheads in the NHL. If I were Winnipeg...I'd be secretly trying to trade him.
