Much more entertaining sofar than last several years.
Completely different Flames than Sutter's Flames. Everything from the way we enter the zone to the way we backcheck.

My only beef is nobody is finishing their checks. I was at the Flames/Oilers last night screaming "HIT EM!!" way too many times.

Could be more physical during the PK but 5 on 5 I loved the pressure we put in the defensive zone. Lots of stick checking and the Oilers generated nothing.

I don't know if that's Hartely or if it's the way this team is built. A lot of small forwards and soft defensemen. I thought they've been more physical than years past.

Jones, Comeau and Glencross really are the only forwards that hit, even Iggy isn't that overly physical anymore as he doesn't wanna wear down his body.

Sarich, Gio are the most physical dman while Butler and yes Jbo are decent at laying the body. Other than that, this current edition of the Calgary Flames is built on skill and speed and I couldn't be happier.
