Seems like we are the only team not to light-up the Oilers

We've yet to have a California hat trick (at least for us) - a Ducks loss, a Sharks loss, and a Kings win on the same night. Damn it, our two rivals also won tonight.

Wow!

Just saw all high-lights from last night and CBJ robbed while Calgary goal allowed????

WTF are the refs doing with those goalie interference calls? The Refs don't seem to be on the same page and the the way they are calling it is mindboggling.

That team is just built wrong. If you can stay out of the box or shut down their PP, nine times out of ten you are going to win.

The Blue Jackets 1 was incredible. There wasn't even any contact with the goalie whatsoever.

I'm not sure where to post this. It seems like Hickey is going to play today against the Jets.

i liken it to the all the PI calls in the NFL. they have completely over compensated to the point it's all bs now. defensive players in the NFL can't even look at a receiver now without drawing a penalty.

the same has happened with protecting the keepers in the NHL. im not saying the keepers are fair game. they need protection and they also shouldn't be interfered with 'within reason'. we are starting to see the same in the NHL, were the officiating to often is overcoming the game.

let the guys play, let them set the threshold(s) for what is and is not acceptable. the refs should be a neutral 3rd party, not the main attraction. the refs need only step in when 'hard' limits are reached, otherwise the game and players will keep it in check. it was done for decades this way and it can and will work again. when officials are overloaded with too many 'judgement' and 'at your discretion'calls it lessens the game

I have the Flyers Lightning game on and Crombeem just got 3 minors at one time (interference , holding and roughing) I never heard of a player getting 3 minors at the same time.

Simmonds just got one for chirping and it cost his team a goal. The dude just wouldnt shut up and the ref had enough. Goal went to another ex-king Purcell

The Flyers lead the league in penalites. It doesn't take much to get them unraveled and the trips to the box ensue.

And their PP sucks. They ahd 4 minutes and got nothing and that gave the Lightning a boost, they were down 1-0 at the time and put 3 in the net. Flyers PK is bad this year too.

Tampa Bay has too much talent and giving them back to back to back PP is inviting troble. And boy does Stamkos draw coverage...Purcell had nobody near him , easy goal.

The one thing I've noticed with Tampa's pp is that they get their shots off quickly and don't wait to shoot. Vinny's goal was a perfect example. Our guys could learn a lot by watching these guys.

The DirecTV guide was wrong. The Blues game starts now on NBCSN.

I'm so happy hockey is back.

I can't decide what to watch. Perron and Parise or Burrows in the box before the game even started. LOL

Sharks are already up 2-0. Jeez.

Man, Edler put that right on Pavelski's tape.

Canucks must be thinking ahead to tomorrow's game, because they're sure spectators tonight.

if they have Schneider staring tonight then I assume Luongo will probably start tomorrow (unless they pull Schneider tonight)
