I hate basketball, but that was the first game I've watched all season and it was actually pretty enjoyable... I usually flip the channel after 5 minutes, but I was able to watch halftime-end of OT.
Sucks their sucky season is going to suck even more that Rondo is out, though.
They be aging but this team still has heart. Anything is possible with some good defense. With Rondo out this is the time to see who steps up. If you think they're going to just lay down and die, you're wrong. I'm excited to see how they do. They responded with a hell of a win today that's for sure.

Not necessarily. Could actually be a blessing in disguise. Rondo is a wizard, and capable of sublime performances, but that's not the whole story.
First of all, they've won their biggest games this season (Knicks, Heat) without Rondo, and arguably play with more heart in his absence. They've lost talent, but it doesn't seem far-fetched to feel that they've gained cohesion.
Secondly, it's possible that the rehab time will lead to reflection and self-examination on Rondo's part, and that he will emerge from it a better teammate. I don't expect him to become a great leader of men, but if he could just lose some of his petulance, it could make a significant difference. We've seen PP grow through the years; it would be nice to see this in Rondo as well.
Rondo sustains the injury, but it walking around. Ainge tells him to take the rest of the year off and that he'll build the team around him going forward. They fabricate the ACL tear. With Rondo out, Ainge now has an excuse to blow up the team since they really have no chance in the playoffs. He no longer has to sell the fare sale to the fan base.
FWIW, I could care less about the C's. I just think it's a fun conspiracy.
Big win against the Clippers yesterday!!
Hopefully they don't let down on the road in Toronto, very winnable game for five straight.
I see on ESPN that the Clippers are interested in KG. I can't see the video because I'm at work, and don't have insider anyway. Not sure what they could offer us though.

Rumor was Eric Bledsoe (a PG), and a veteran SF Caron Butler

They forgot to mention KG has a NTC which points to this story being straight up BS.
No way the Clippers would trade Bledsoe for Garnett at this point in his career. But I'd have to say the C's need to jump on that deal if it were the case.

not if Barnes is still there, I'd keep KG, after what that pitiful moron did, should've been a flagrant 2
