Top line left handed winger to ANA

Winnik can fill the void for the time being, and palmieri doesnt have that first line talent (in my opinion)

Getzlaf and Perry being right handed, a lefty would be a nice addition

We have a decent amount of good defensive and goaltending prospects that can be offered in return, as well as picks

No one is going to give up a first liner for prospects and picks. They will want a comparable talent coming back.

Only if the selling teams player is a UFA in summer and in rebuild mode. It's pretty rare a top line player trade doesn't have a roster player coming back.

Palmieri and Winnik have been fine. I wouldn't mind someone as an upgrade but if we are going to shell out assets for a forward, it needs to be a 2nd line center.

I think keeping winnik with koivu is a better idea than being on the top line.

Roster players I would (personally) be willing to give up would be
-Smith Pelley
-Allen
-Bonino
-Palmieri

We also have a logjam in goaltending prospects including deslauriers, bobkov, andersen

MacArthur for a 2nd.

Who is going to trade a first line winger?

Bolded no one would want as anything other than a throw in for a 1st line winger.

SP and Palmieri probably don't carry the value you, and other duck fans think they would.

I use "top line" in a pretty relaxed way, I should add.

We dont need 1st line winger talent, just someone more skilled than what we've been using.

I just don't see it as a big need. Could we use improvement there? Yes, but Palmieri has looked very good there so far. Plus we are only 4 games in.

I agree that Winnik should stay on 3rd line though.

I'd be interested in getting Morrow from Dallas still if price is right, but otherwise I only give up considerable assets for a 2nd line center.

No way I move Palmieri though.

Same here. With Perry and Selanne's futures up in the air, it doesn't make sense to move the best right winger we have coming up. We also have no one with his unique skillset.

You might be able to get gagner from edmonton for a prospect and a pick, but a real first line player is going to cost you at least one significant roster player and more...

If anyone has watched the Ducks this year, they'd know that 2c is our biggest need right now. the Koivu-Winnik-Cogliano line is great, but everything gets busted up when we're forced to move Koivu onto the second line cause Nick Bonino (great idea for a 2C Boudreau) doesn't know what he's doing in between Selanne and Ryan.

Cammalleri? Could be a nice combination on the top line. What would you be willing to give up?

Kunitz, any one of our defense prospects, and a 2013 1st for Perry.

Problems solved.

The Penguins probably do have one of the best packages for Ryan.

Kunitz, Bennett, Pouliot, Dumoulin, and 2031 1st

Another one that'll never happen though.

Still. Bonino as the 2c is responsible for the jumbled lines last night. he's not working out there.
