Crosby: Where did he go in the lockout?

Hello

I am from England and we get no TV coverage of NHL, I have just been trying to find out where or what Crosby was doing during the lockout? did he go and play for another team?

Please go easy on me, without calling me a noob or anything, like I said UK = no NHL coverage

Thank you

He didn't play during the lockout.

He stayed in Pittsburgh and practiced with a good portion of the team.

Had things fallen apart I think that was inevitable...but I'm quite happy that never happened.

But yeah, he generally stayed in Pittsburgh and practiced with other players that stayed local.

Stayed in Pitts.
Went to a few training camps with fellow locked out players around the U.S.
Couldn't play in charity games cuz of his high cost of insurance.
Didn't play for any team but almost went to the Swiss League.

He played Dek Hockey against my team one night. I like to think we helped prepare him for the season.
